  1. Mozilla can you please let me know which resistors you replaced so i can try this repair also. Did you just do the R26 and R12 thats in this link?? http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1333618 that ones is for an older 4.1 version tho and he states he has no sound at all so I would think 2 totally different issues. let me know thanks.
  2. Were you having the same issue i describled or a no power at all issue like that forum post describles because mine power up and play just fine but has the interference fuzz hiss noise like i siad...
  3. I'll try it but its not a constant fuzz noise it is like every 3 seconds. then sometimes it'll stop for a while where are the Potentiometers you speak of?
  4. Did you figure anything out? I'm still dealing with this god awful annoyance.
  5. no way, they are like 4yrs old.' What do you think the issue is?
  6. I already did, I unplugged all 3 of the line in cables (Green, Black, Orange) from the back of the sub unit and noise is still there. it doesn't matter if the speakers are powered up it makes the noise/fuzz. so it rules out my computer. and i tried plugging it in a different outlet in the house using an extension cord and still the same.
  7. Recently i've been getting a static / fuzz kind of noise in all 5 speakers equally, it doesn't matter if i turn the volume knob up or down it stays the same. I tried unplugged the orange, black and green cables from the back of the sub that go to the sound card. noise is still there I tried diffferent power cables still there. Only thing i haven't tried is plugging it in a totally different room. I think the noise is coming from the power. or something internally failed in the sub.
