heres the other half of the room thank you! id like to move the 7's to the center channel and get something bigger with more of a powerful sound. but first im going to try a couple of subs in there. i listen to 2 channel more than movies soo... I might even try a tube amp cause they say its a warmer sound thats what im looking for as long as it can play those 7's loud!

I like acdc metallica classic rock rock music. All i want is more powerful sound at high volumes. it seems like when i turn it up max I need to cut the highs on my processors eq all the way down to negative 10. and the mids start t sound muddy and loose there quality. I just hate when they start to fall off. I just want them to keep going in spl and quality. Would another set of 7's be louder with less volume? and just stack them somehow? Or stick to the idea of bigger amp(s)? The 2 rf5's are my center channel just for my movis ran off a different amp.

hey yall i have a set of 7's just like to see if anyone wants to chime in and express there opinion here. I obviously have a emotive xpa 2 running the 7's i still would like it louder. They get LOUD, but they seem to fall off at a certain point. I was wondering if I got another xpa 2 and bridged em would that help or get a totally different amp setup totally?? Anyone know? Every now and then i like to crank it up especially when theres ufc parties and all. I kinda want people to say dam. I just imagine that old pic of that guy sitting in a chair getting blown away by his 2 speakers thats what I want to have on tap. I want more powerfull sound.

ok thanks for the responses. these speakers are just huge compared to the 5's or 82's I love it!!!! Just watching tv I can tell the difference in detail and clarity the 7's have. The denon avr 5800 it set to LARGE for the fronts and i have the 7's in stereo right now running them full bor off the denon poa 2200. Im just watching tv or a movie since were in a room real small now due to the unfinished addition at the house. I built a room 24' by 38' and its all open so im going to need to do some real sound dampening up there. But anyways the amp has never cut off or went in to protection mode. To be honest I want to get a different 2 ch. amp for the 7's Im willing to spend 1000.00 or so and I want a really warm sounding amp with solid mids explosive lows, and plenty of juice for the dynamics of course. the horns take care of the highs no matter what. Sooo if anyone out there has any suggestions on what to look for?? thank you!!!

alright I FINALLY purchased a pair of rf 7's[] So i hooked them up to my poa 2200 (denon) and they sound great but,,, I get no mids or low end from them the woofers dont even move. Well they do you just need to be 6 inches from em to see it!!! whats going on here I really want these things to rock and put out warm throaty sounds in my opinion these things should be putting out more mids and booms than the 12" senrgy sub i have right???? Ill switch back and forth (using the A and B buttons on the amp) from my 82's to my 7's and they sound almost the same. One would assume for the difference in speakers there should be a signifigant difference in sound????? my hunch is I need some serious power????? IDK any suggestions THANK YOU!!!

thats what i thought as well, but the factory tag says 250 max could these be a "limited edition" on these or whatever??? the bottom woofer on one speaker is crinkled but is fully intact and from what i can tell it has no effect sonically what so ever. but id like to replace it anyway and klipsch never answers the phone[8o|]

just bought a pair of used rf 5 the tag on the back says 250 max. arnt most 150 max??? whats up with that?? thank you!!!! P.S there a lot more warmer speaker than the rf 82's

thank guys! the amp has been sittin in a box for years now, and theres no rush. My dad has owned since new and i thought id try to c whats up with it.

anyone know why the right channel is getting very hot very quickly??? sansui said check the bias, i have no clue what that is. the model is au999 i downloaded the manual and cant find the bias???

this is what i ended up buying DENON DP-29F ANALOG TURNTABLE DP29F CART&NEEDLE INC. just a cheapie but i can always go up from here. hopefully its a good starter unit??

well i suppose id want fully auto? and id be willing to spend a few hundred or so
