I have one I bought almost 20 years ago....forget the model. I swear it sounds better with age, it's my favorite guitar I've owned.

I read somewhere that Klipsch recommends Watco Rejuve oil. I've used that on all my walnut speakers and they look beautiful.

Hell of a deal!

Its Walnut. I had a guys here locally telling me that I am asking too much.......if I am please someone let me know a fair price.

Here it is, it's in great shape, I think $800.00 is fair.

I spoke with the seller this morning and I did misunderstand him. He said he altered the network because he was just listening to the one and wanted to play it in mono just using either the right or left side of the amp. He said he couldn't remember how he did it but used a diagram from this website. [^o)] I just put in an older AA that I had around and both speakers sound fine, they just need a little finish work.

I bought a pair of beat up La Scalas from a guy who had one in his garage and the other on his front porch. He said he modified the network so it played in stereo when hooked up. I would like to do the same thing but I am not sure if this is correct. Take a look at the network and let me know if this will work. Thanks. [Y]

Great call Runninshine! I was goiing to post this. I saw Dave Alvin open for Richard Thompson at the Bottom Line here in NYC, 4 times over a 2 night stand. I though he was great, Andersonville was a really tough song. Somewhere deep in my collection I have a soundboard of DA doing these songs. That sounds great, I would love to see Richard Thompson one day. Dave plays a great show......songs by both artists will be played at my place today. [Y]

They're great right?! While we were moving into the house Im in now, there was a was a waiting period and we had all of our stuff in storage and as soon as we moved in I hooked mine up and was just amazed because of how good they sound. I run ALK's in mine as well.

I've done the same with Heresys, Fortes and Klipschorn trim and the result was great.

You probably got that from the Bruce Edgar interview of PWK for "Speaker Builder" magazine. Thank you for that. I really like the La Scala and have a real love for it.
