  1. I have a Luxman L-309 (circa 1973, I think) that sounds fantastic with Klipsch. A bonus is the output trim pots on the back. It helps give more useful range on the main volume control on highly sensitive Klipsch speakers. I mainly have used it with Khorns. Also great with Cornwall & Heresy.
  2. Martha!!! I've never heard Argerich more gloriously and real than on Klipschorns. Seems like overkill for just solo piano or other intimate recordings, but it is just magic.
  3. For vintage, I've had two driving my Klipschorns that are outstanding: NEC A11 Beast! ca. 1983. Took a crap on me and needed an unobtanium module. Luxman L380. Beautiful sound, flexible, great phono section. Holding in reserve for daughter & son-in-law for when they get a bigger place.
  4. Hang on there. We are still working on the amps. Sorry for the confusion.
  5. Madman, the buyer of the tube amps had to rethink things, so both are again available. Packing was $65 and shipping was 168 for the amps plus the DB MC stage (which is also available). I imagine the shipping to Chattanooga will be less than Helena MT!
  6. If you'll Paypal the amount to me at evanpyle@att.net I'll hit you up for shipping after it's sent.
  7. Carl, the MM stage is still unclaimed, as is the RS input box. Also the Onkyo AV receiver and the Adcom GFT 555II tuner.
  8. Okay the CJ sold (ironically to "CJ" via PM) And the tube amps and the DB step up are also gone.
  9. Okay, hatrack. If you'll Paypal the actual amount, I'll get them shipped and message you back with shipping and packing costs.
  10. Hmmm, I'm having trouble resizing the Adcom. I guess I can email the pic to interested parties.
  11. And more. Here's what I have. Some is giveaway, but you'll have to pick up shipping and packing at my local shipping and packing joint. Except the smallest items...I can handle packing those, so just shipping cost on those. The items that have a price will have shipping and packing added to the cost. So, here's the list, pics to follow. Black Pearl cartridge. Unknown working order, but looks sound. Free RS passive switch box. Useful for extra inputs. Free TC-750 MM Preamp. $25 Works great DB Systems MC step-up. This was a high end item. Nice piece. $25 6A3 tube amp. I bought it from somebody on the forum (who built it), but can't remember who. I was never able to work out the bugs. Great for parts, fresh tubes, quality iron. $50 Another one. This one is EL34. Built by another forum member. Sounds okay, not great. Fresh tubes, quality iron. $50 Onkyo A/V receiver. Works fine. Looks like doo-doo. Free. CJ PV11. Nice piece, only a few minor blems. Sounds good too! $100 Adcom tuner. $25 Works fine
  12. Sorry folks...this fine pair is SOLD! Hard to let them go after having them in my living room since 1985. But life... Coming up next...a sale of all kinds of goodies, including numerous freebies.
  13. Now I'm pretty sure the crossovers are DeanG universals. Come 'n get 'em!
  14. Right, Mark. I sent a PM but have not heard back from Raynman. Mark, would you mind looking at my pics and see if you can identify whose crossover I have? Can't remember...
  15. I do still play. In fact, I played all the ceremony music for our recent wedding. I recorded the music to a zoom player and it was played back...prelude music, the processionals, recessional, after-music.
