  2. Excellent pair of Klipsch R-5800-W in-wall speakers. Original owner, these were used in a two-channel setup driven by a Vincent SV-236. The fact that these are in-walls truly has nothing to do with how amazing they sound! Has a very useful pivoting Klipsch horn tweeter for pinpoint stereo imaging. Grills have been painted beige with felt underlay removed and can be easily painted to suit your decor. Includes all original boxes, templates, and manuals. *SOLD* Thanks for looking!
  3. Schu, It looks like the 64 is sitting on a piece of wood on top of two ottomans. The riser screw from the 64 has it tilted up in the front. Bill That is exactly the case as I never got around to building the stand with said piece of wood. Actually may have it built in future photos with extra time during the holidays. The riser screw is used to angle at the seating area with raised platforms.
  4. Thanks. Hey those RT-10D's are no slouch either, especially in the cherry finish. I may be able to take advantage of a sweet deal on a Palladium (L/R) pair, or RF-7II's.

Fully customizable with unlimited macros and configurations, this is the intelligent remote control for home theater or any comprehensive setup. I've programmed these to control multiple systems, components, projectors, and lighting with great success. Features a high resolution color touch screen with easy to learn software. 7. Corinne Bailey Rae. She's refreshingly original in her music but hearkens to old school masters of the craft playing guitar, a live band, and thoughtful songwriting all her own. Her vocals are delivered with unique feeling and inflection on original numbers as well as some covers on her first self-titled Deluxe 2-CD set. On her latest CD/album The Sea she delves a little deeper following the death of her husband with a more personal and conscious effort, while still including great rhythm on the more upbeat numbers. Easily listenable all day with tunes that resonate after play. If there was a comparison I would say SADE, with all due respect would be closest. But not many other of the music puppets following status quo without any substance. She's a great live performer, cute as they come, and humble in this new music machine industry. I guess her genre would be sort of R&B adult contemporary, but I wouldn't pigeonhole this latest talent. Her best is still yet to come!
  8. Nice setup, very nice and tastefully done. I must say if the notion of adding a fan for the Denon has crossed your mind then it's a good idea indeed. I have a buddy that kept his flagship receiver in such confinements lose a channel due to inadequate ventilation. Here's one that's not very expensive considering what's available and may work in your situation: http://www.buyextras.com/evavcoblfanf.html If this isn't an option you may want to swap your blu-ray space with a component and omit the shelf above the Denon.
  9. Tried to get shot of rear speakers but didn't come out as planned. Please excuse lens debris.
  10. This is a scam! Oftentimes CL scammers post ads like this looking for suckers born right now! My wife is into American Girl dolls and responded to just this kind of ad for a terminally ill cancer patient only to have the OP request personal information without providing any real contact themselves. In general CL ads are more reliable with a number listed to speak to an actual person. Not ragging on CL I've actually sold and bought many things using the site including a vehicle that I drive everyday with no issues.
  11. I have (2) Xa35 units that have been problem free. They're capable of 1080p HD DVD performance and pretty good with dvd upconversion and cd playback. However from what I understand the Xa2 may be a better built unit in terms of heft, but not as efficient with load times.
  12. If you like to have great control with Ipod-like customization the Philips Pronto 7000/7500 is a winner! I have 2 and swear by them.
  13. No you've come to the right place alright[Y] I have a similar setup using R-5800-W's (L/C/R) for the fronts, and R-5650'S's (L/R) for surrounds, with B&W ASW-1000 sub. Right now I'm running my system with a Denon 3806 receiver and everything sounds fantastic. In my opinion any of the Denon 3000 series receivers and up would match up very well. Haven't heard the Onkyos but they have some very popular models with nice feature sets. If you're going separates Marantz, and Onkyo/Integra makes great pre.-pros. that would be nice fits. And just about any decent amp; Bryston, Parasound, B&K, Lexicon, etc... will be great. It doesn't take a whole lot to drive these so it's more about your preference in listening: movies, music, or both. There's also information in the "In Wall Recommendations" post.
  14. Get a pair of R-5650-S's and don't look back. Easily the best in-wall surrounds I've ever heard. Actually, they're the only effective in-wall surrounds I've ever heard. I have them in my Family Room Theater and they sound phenominal! Outstanding presentation of ambience and hardcore surround effects that works fantastic with soundtrack and multi-channell music. My room is 23'L x 13 1/2'W and I have them placed at the back not the sides. Sound hoovers well into the middle of the room, and across the ceiling with suprising bass. Using R-5800-W's up front for (L/C/R) there are no audio gaps from front to back. Even with one side of the room open to another 23' X 13 1/2 room, it's flatout seemless.
