  1. In comparison how are the Heresies compared to Forte and Chorus?
  2. Thanks I currently own a subwoofer, so the bass will not be a problem. But I've heard the Heresies can be a little bit intense in the high frequencies, and that is some thing that I really dislike. How is the RB-81's on that?
  3. And what will that price be? James Like $1500, something, not higher..
  4. Hi, I'm planing on getting new speakers for my stereo setup, I've narrowed it down to two speakers; the Heresies and RB-81 I listen to about 75% rock in all kinds, and 25% crap (other music, movies, games etc..), and the room is quite small Which one will fulfill my needs? My plan is to build a Dynaco ST-70 to run the speakers. I will try to audition the speakers, but first I want to know what you guys think Appreciate also other alternatives as long they're not more expensive than the heresies (or very large in size)
  5. If I'm going to buy a pair of LaScala's, then I would need a new amplifer to run them, so what do you guys recomend i the tube category? I've seen many recomending SET amplifiers, but aren't they a little weak? I came across these amplifes and they looked really nice, but I don't have a clue how they sound, have anyone tested those?
  6. Thanks for replies guys, some day I will reward you with pics! It's really tempting to put in some extra cash for the LaScala 2's, i'm just hoping that Vanns will get their super offer back on the LaScala 2's ($1700 each) Even though I live in Norway, and the shipping is expensive, it's a lot cheaper to buy them in the US, because in Norway they cost 85000 Nok = $12000[][8o|][:'(] PYRO: I'm lissening to about 90% rock and 10% other
  7. Hey, and thanks for the reply[] So, bottom line: the LaScala 2 go or sound like they go deeper than Scala 1, but the midrange and tweeter are the same!? I'm using a subwoofer so maybe the difference would not be so great after all, or what? Those Jubilee's looked awsome[], but they were huge[]
  8. Are there really any differences in sound between the LaScala 1 and the LaScala 2? I see that you can get some used LaScala 1 pretty "cheap", but LaScala 2 retails for aprox. $6000, so is it worth to put in some extra cash for the new 2's or should i look for some used 1's?[^o)]
