I can get the RS3-II for $999.00 canadian here in town but I want the older ones for $499.00 as it seems to me that only the wire has changed ------------------ -=lightfoot=-

The only difference I can find is about 40% in the price the Rs3 sell for $499.00 {canadian}and the Rs3 II sell for $899-$999 for a pair so I'm looking for the old ones 1st -=lightfoot=- This message has been edited by lightfoot on 08-10-2002 at 10:16 AM

Can anyone tell me whats the difference with these as I all ready have RF3 for the mains And a RC3 Center? But the Rs3's are very hard to find. I'm told that the only change was that monster wire is used inside them. If so is it very hard to upgrade my current speakers so that all are the same? ------------------ -=lightfoot=-

I have RF3's and I went with the kSW-12 for the sub. It sound nice when to turn it on for movies. (BOOM BOOM)I dont realy use it much for songs as the RF3's seem to have alot of bass in them already so for music I turn the sub down to a very low FEQ of about 30 i think it is

I read somewere not to Tin the ends ?

Whats the Best way? 1:Bare wire 2:Banana plugs 3:Unknown I have the kg3.5 and they don't take banana plugs so would i need to replace the fittings and would it make that much difference. I have small gold pin type connectors right now on #12 wire
