Just noticed my C3 / F3s have 5 red / black speaker wire connectors. what are these for?

we can rearrange but it looks really odd. =( I could put the sub in the noock right now but in the next 8 weeks we will be getting an entertainment system built in and I don't think the sub would sound right incased in that. I'd also imagine th vigration noise would suck too from all the paneling / doors.

Ok so I read the instructions on the F3s and they suggest to be 24 inches from back and side walls. Does this impact sound that much If I'm not? I've got everything in an entertainment nook that is about 9 feet wide and about 2 feet deep so between the TV and towers theres only about 6" all the way around. I also noticed that in the setup diagram they provided they have the sub woofers in the front corner of the wall behind the tv. However I only have room to have it back against the way behind the seating area. Will that drastically alter the sound?

wait, so what causes the monster cables to turn green? what makes them a lower grade wire? So is 14 gauage better then 18? Woudl that mean 12 is better then 14 and would sound better?

I ended up tracking downa pair from craiglist. Good condition but the cover has a couple tears and some white paint on them from being mounted in a corner up againts the ceiling.

s3's i found on craigslist. only place i was able to find them.

the center channel is 3 feet, left/right front channels about 6 feet, sub woofer and surround speakers run up inside the wall over the top of the ceiling and then down the other side of the wall so about 30 feet each.

I FINALLY completed my F3, C3, S3 system so wen tto BB to buy some speakers. But they ranged from 15-120 for the same length. does it really matter or make a difference? what do I want to look for feature wise?

ok so I just found out the dude also has a used pair of s3s so I could get the s3s or the f3s for less then what retail s3s would have caused. Someone just tell me what to do!

I can't find s3s anywhere but someone said they would sell me both their f3s for less then MSP on s3s. So my setup would be C3, f3 front, f3 side, sub 12. would that sound alright or is it better to stick with side/surround speakers?

just found this: http://searchwidget.shopwiki.com/site/82992 So no way I'm buying from them. What is the deal with all the shady online shops being in NJ. One of my only rules for buying online: don't buy from any company based in NJ.

oh ive been able to find an abundace of s2s and s1s but really want to complete the f3 se. right now im looking at buying used s3s anyway so I would imagine im sol on the warrenty either way. so aside from not being authorized what else makes them shady?

forgive my ignorance but I dont know what buying from an authorized dealer vs a non authorized dealer means. Are they selling fake product or something?

So I can't find s3s new or used anywhere. whats a good alternitive
