  1. What you think about this compared to the denon 3313ci http://us.marantz.com/us/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?CatId=AVReceivers&SubCatId=&ProductId=SR6007
  2. Well I hate to say it but my UMC-1 has been having some issues, that I have been working with tech support on but nothing has worked and they want me to send it in to be looked at. Anyone else having any issues? Here is some of the things mine is doing. 1. When I go into level calibration I sometimes do not get sound out of a speaker this is random and usually the left side speaker but not always. 2. When I turn the system on the volume is set at my preferred listening level however the sound is much lower, turning it up does little, so I have to switch channels or turn it off and on to fix this. 3. While watching tv audio will drop out several times during a show. 4. While watching tv I will loose video, and have to turn the umc off and on to fix. 5. While watching tv I will loose audio and video, and have to turn umc off and on to fix. I think that is it for now. Anyone having these issues? I am running a directv hd dvr HR-24 with latest firmware and my tv is the new sharp 70 inch in my signature. Emotiva wants me to pay to ship it to them, but I am almost thinking about just buying something else as these issues are getting the wife upset because she does not know what to do when this happens. I hate to pay to ship to them and they say they cant find anything! I would be without for at least a week and the cash for the shipping could go to another receiver. I may have to look at the denon and marantz again. If the UMC work without issue I would be very happy with it. I was waiting for the XMC but now I am second guessing that choice if these issues cant be fixed. How is everyone elses UMC-1 working out? I am wondering about this receiver from Denon!!!!!! http://usa.denon.com/US/Product/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?PCatId=AVSolutions(DenonNA)&catalog=DenonNA_US&CatId=AVReceivers(DenonNA)&Pid=AVR3313CI(DenonNA)

    RC 64

The xpa amps are great upgrades. The SVS pb Ultra 13 will tear your house apart.

    RC 64

I think I posted about the shipping problem on my RC64. I think I went through 3 before I got one undamaged.
  5. Yes I will be ordering one within a week or two. It will be replacing my XPA-5 in my theater room. I'll let everyone know how it stacks up if no one beats me to it. This thing will be beautiful in my theater room. What are you going to do with the XPA-5?
  6. It comes with a hefty price tag!
  7. It really is a beautiful speaker. I knew it was bigger than my 12s but wow this thing is a monster. I have always wanted one really bad but never thought I would own one because of the price. The 12s are really nice but the 13 has another level to it. Now you know why I am having a hard time parting with my rosenut Svs sub.
  8. Thats cool, i did not think they made the rosenut subs when the sledge can out. How do you like it??
  9. Boy for a minute there I almost thought I had to share the title with you!!! Where did they get the rosenut from? I thought they stopped making that finish a while back. Does it have a bash amp or sledge amp in it? I still like my rosenut, so much that I dont think I will sell it. I think I will just use it later on when I get a dedicated theater room so for now it sits in the box all bundled up, nice and safe.
  10. Vet75 Stingray on xbox360
  11. Scrappydue, do you think I would give up my self proclaimed title that easy???
  12. Which model do you have? I know the picture is not going to be as good as I got now but size and price are right. Cant find a 70" Plasma, looks like they are not making a lot of plasmas anymore.
  13. I think you started something!!!!!!!!!!! Ha ha, my bad. I knew I shouldn't have said anything =^P I personally prefer plasma because it just looks more natural to me. I have more to say on the subject, but I won't since this isn't the thread for it. People prefer what they prefer =^) Maybe we should start a thread on the hot topic of LED vs Plasma vs LCD vs DLP
  14. No projector for me. All my stuff is not in a dedicated theater room, its in the family room, so its got to be a tv the wife would freak out!!! Remember I just pulled off dual PB-13 Ultra's!! with the wife, She wont go for a screen in here too. Maybe if I do a theater room I could do that.
  15. I think you started something!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Also looking for size 70-80 inch. the plasma's i see always seem too dark and not very vivid in there colors. I dont think screen burn in is an issue anymore with plasma's? Not sure about the life expectancy of a plasma vs led?
  17. LED is Energy efficient over plasma and I have a lot of windows and skylights in the room. Plasma's do better in darker rooms.
  18. Nice duals!!!!!!!!!!! Thats how I want mine set up, but in need to find a smaller cabinet to put some electronics in the middle of my subs and below the tv. Here it the mount I am looking at. I need a bigger tv than 55 or 60 inch but there is little leds to choose from that you dont need a bank loan for. LOL! Anybody have the sharp 70 inch led? I know sharp is not the quality that my samsung is but the price is better. Samsung is coming out with a 65 inch led this year if you got 5,000!!!! OUCH!! http://www.sanus.com/us/en/products/visionmount/full-motion-mount/XF228
  19. This is what I did the thread is here. http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/118095.aspx?PageIndex=1
  20. Got my second cherry svs PB-13 Ultra the other day, now I just need to get my wall mount for tv and get a smaller stand for some components. Those of you that mounted your tv on the wall what did you do about the power and HDMI? Got any pictures? Did you run it through the wall or cover it some how or just let it hang? Give me some ideas??
  21. For the money, it was well worth it and I would recommend it. And the upgrade card was the icing on the cake for me.I think the xmc-1 will rock. I like the look of the matching components and believe it or not I even like that big remote kinda retro. One of the things that bugged me is you always have to have the receiver on to even watch tv. On my onyko I could watch tv with the receiver off and listen through the tv speakers. With the emotive if the umc is off, you get no picture, until you turn it on. The onkyo must have allowed the signal to still pass through while in the standby mode. I like that feature as I always to not want to listen in surround sound.
  22. That was the denon that I was thinking of getting also.
  23. last i was told the cherry had 6 left and i bought one of those 6 so now 5.
  24. I guess that is my fault Youthman.
