  1. "Holy high end Batman, what is that sound?" "Quick Robin cover your ears before the sirens entrance us for eternity" Or as Zappa once said "great googly moogly" Don't touch that dial.
  2. Sled techs are on work-stoppage right now. Something about unfair labor practices.
  3. ...on my doorstep this afternoon. The girls have a chick party to go to this evening, I know what I'll be doing while they're gone!
  4. Sorry if I put gasoline on the fire - my question about line arrays in the home still stands though.
  5. There are only 3 things that can affect the transmission of audio through a system. Resistance, Capacitance and Inductance. If the Item In Question does not infuence any of the 3 then it can have no impact on the sound. Thank you Mr. Rozenblit for saving many a wallet.
  6. Bybee Quantum Purifiers operate on the quantum mechanical level to regulate the flow of electrons Electrons don't flow, the "energy" is passed from atom to atom not unlike a line of ball bearings hitting each other. At least that's what I was taught.
  7. Thanks - as I mentioned above, I've already read everything I could find on the forum related to the Scalas & Dynacos but none really addressed the low end differences between the 2 types.
  8. Firstly, greetings from a newbie. I have a pair of La Scalas soon to go under the Crites knife (new crossovers & tweeter), however, as well as cleaning up the top end I would like a little mo' bass out of them, something I feel my homebrewed SE amp is lacking in. My household's musical tastes range from Classical to Screamo (I have teenagers) and all points in between! My reasearch (including extensive searching of these forums) has led me towards the Dynaco particularly as there seems to be a healthy market for kits & services for these amps. My question is, for what I am looking for would I be better off with a pair of Monoblock IIIs or Ivs or an ST-70? Thanks in advance for any help.
