  1. I have the same amplifier and agree with what was said here. I did not lose anything that I had with the EL-34's when I switched to the 150's. The gains for me were tighter bass, more speed and more detail throughout. They both sound great though and it is a personal preference. As for NOS versus new comment all of my small tubes are NOS and they are much better than any of the current offerings I have tried, but the KT-150's are excellent tubes but be picky where you purchase them. The joy of tubes.
  2. No problem. Enjoy your new speaker.
  3. I have had all three myself and I agree.
  4. I have always loved and have been very impressed with these speakers also. Very surpising how good they actually are.
  5. I have a very nice KV4 center channel speaker that was used in a secondary TV room. I moved to a new home and no longer have a use for it. I am looking to sell local in the DFW area. I am asking $250.00. I am also selling a pair of KG2.5's $250.00, a Martin Logan Dynamo 1000 wireless sub $575.00, and a Yamaha RX-A1070 receiver $600.00. I do have the boxes for the sub and Yamaha but I would rather not ship the speakers. Sorry for the grainy pictures.
  6. I have a very nice pair of light oak KG2.5's for sale in the DFW area. I relocated to Texas in July and we finally settled into a new home in January. The new home only has room for one set up and these were in my secondary system so I no longer have a use for these. They are in excellent shape. I am asking $250.00 obo. 7. Yes excellent amplifier, it is the X250.8 by Pass Labs. I was trying it out and decided I liked it so much I would up my game and ordered a pair of mono's from them, X260.8's. I tried the XA25 at the same time and it is an amazing amp also and would drive any klipsch speaker excellently. I am using these with some Bowers and Wilkins so I went with more power.

  11. This amplifier delivers amazingly clean, dynamic and detailed sound with a stunningly realistic soundstage. This is a 3 Channel Power Amplifier which can be used for L,R and center channel for HT and/or multichannel music, or stereo plus a passive sub. It also has the ability to inhibit, turn off, individual amplifier modules so you can use any 2 channels as a stereo amp with third channel kept as a spare module. I purchased this amplifier for a home theater project that it appears I will not be doing at this time. I was curious to hear it so I hooked it up to my laptop and disabled the center channel utilizing it as a two channel amp. I removed my Pass Labs amp and plugged this in to my two channel set up.. I was extremely impressed. It.runs very quiet and cool, has very impressive detail and an excellent soundstage, fantastic bass. I wish I had a use for this as I find it very fulfilling to listen to Review links are listed below. 12. This is an amazing amplifier that has produced some of the finest music I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. I have enjoyed it immensely. I am going to upgrade to the unit that is a two piece design, 845 Premium, why not. It is in excellent shape and comes with a remote control. I am asking 4995.00 obo. I do have the original box if buyer would like to arrange pickup.
  13. Thanks for the picture. I have wondered what they would sound like with the tweeter and mid horn up closer to ear level.
  14. No subs please. I don't have the room for a sub.
