Dear lord, NOW I read this thread a day after ordering my Live5.1 (which just came).

Arrggg I just can't decide! I guess I can shell out the extra 50 bucks. And Yeah, I'd rather have really bitchin 4.1 sound than anything any 5.1 system can offer in the same price range for DVDs. Better for gaming and music, too.

hold a damn second. What's the difference between the ProMedia 400 and the ProMedia 4.1( http://www.klipsch.com/store/product.asp?dept%5Fid=1&pf%5Fid=019 )? Which is better, and how? WHen does the 4.1 come out? Oh, is it THX certified?

Hey guys, new here. I've been looking around reading reviews of sound systems for my PC and it looks like the ProMedia is the one for me. However, after looking at the dates of most of the reviews these speakers are obviously relatively old. Anything better coming out soon, or already out, in the same price range? Also, I'm going to be hooking it up to my new Live! 5.1 sound card. Is it somehow possible to hook up an extra speaker and set it up as an extra (center) channel? Or would I be DOOMED to 4.1 with these speakers no matter what?
