  1. I have recently purchased a set of Chorus II's. They sound great. I am trying to determine the date of manufacture. How can this be done? The serial numbers are: 263390430 and 263390431.
  2. You wil NOT go wrong with a Marantz 2325 receiver or the 1250 amp. both are rated at 125 watts per channel. Let me tell you they will sound great with it. I use a Marantz 2325 with a set of Chorus II's and the sound is fantastic
  3. Congrats on the new addition to the family!!! I got my Chorus II's about 3 weeks ago. So, I too am new to the fantastic sound of the Chorus II. I have wanted a set of these since I first heard them some 20 years ago in the local showroom. But, wasn't till 3 weeks ago I found a pair locally, that where in really good shape. I have not regretted spending the money on them. I do find that I don't have enough time just to sit and listen to them. I have setup some CD's in the player turned it up a bit and went down stairs, they even sound great down stairs. Load or soft, they sound great!!! I power these with a Marantz 2325 for serious listening or a Denon AVR 2308CI for the front channels of my home theater. Of course the Marantz puts the Denon to shame, but thats another stroy. Enjoy them! Roadbike
  4. Thanks! Beer and pizza on tap for the weekend!
  5. I am a LONG time admirer and a new owner of the Chorus II's. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how far the Chorus II's should be placed from the wall. The speaker are not near any side walls, so the placement would be from the rear wall. Thank You in advance.
  6. I'd say it was worth replacing the capacitors.
