Actually the midrange of the Midiland 8200's is better. I have a set and a friend of mind next door has the pros. I can hear voices better with my system, but I have replaced my satelites with Acoustics Research 206HO speakers. The mdiland satelites did not have tweeters and this irritated me. The subs are pretty close in power. I might give the pros the edge, but its not a significant margin. The Acoustic Research speakers have a 3/4" tweeter and a 6" inch woofer so midrange and highs are alot better. For overall quaility though I would go with the pros because of the great highs, that is in comparison with the original satelites.

Yeah I have the AR 206HO. They are really nice, especially after being broken in.I have them attached to the midiland 8200 (replaced satelites). They are really worth the money. I got mine for $67 (auction at egghead.com). I am totally satisfied. Although the satelites amp is only 20w atts I hardly carry the volume about half. Very Satisfied!!!!!
