  1. What I’ve done over the years with building race cars and show cars and refurbishment of speakers. Get yourself craft paper and blue painters tap and a very good razor knife. And make templates for the insides and the transfer these to your veneers. Then you should have a exact duplicates of what you’re going to need
When you do it like this, your able to use as many cuts of paper and tape to get the exact fit

  2. I’ve had many of the klipsch pro line of speakers and subs,
I would not pay much attention to what the specs say on how low they will go. They will and can hit you with hard chest ponder power. Run it on REW with a Dayton mic and see just what they can do.
If you don’t have the mic, I loan mine out with a deposit on pp or Venmo. Just cover shipping cost
Message me if you need the help

  3. This is Chubs the Fat Cat, he is over 12 LBS and 7 years old.
My daughter found him and his sister when they were kittens and very very small and living under some junk behind some old house. He is like a dog, he comes when called, sits and so on when he is asked.

  4. This is a sweet deal, to bad I have to many fires going on here with my audio gear

i have 5 H1’s that I need to sell or at lest 3 of them and some klf-10’s in black. Local here things are not selling very fast. Crazy as central Florida is the hot spot for klipsch speakers

  5. The specs indicate that your horn and driver will do well to build a 2-way speaker combo on an FH-1. You will need a L-pad to trim the 2446H output down to 104db.

    from the 2446H/J spec sheet;

    • 100 watts continuous program power handling when used above 500 Hz
    • 150 watts continuous program power handling when used above 1 kHz
    • 500 Hz to 20 kHz response
    • 8 ohm (H) or 16 ohm (J) impedance
    • 111 dB sensitivity (1W/1m on 2380A horn)
    • Coherent Wave[emoji769] phasing plug design for increased high-frequency output
    • 100 mm (4 in) pure titanium diaphragm with radial-rib topology
    • 100 mm (4 in) edgewound aluminum voice coil
    • Net weight: 13.8 kg (30.5 lb)

I’ve been looking for a pair of the FH-1 around central Florida and no luck so far
Where can I find a complete set of build plans for them? All the ones I find have been missing a lot of info
  6. Yeah, didn't measure, but they sound wonderful. They were build from scratch so no before / after comparison. I do have a set of stock Heresy that are very nice sounding but these are head and shoulders above them. The woofer used was Eminence 12LFA and they dig deeper than stock and shine in the vented cabinet. These also have upgraded tweeters too which helps round out the full spectrum. Really, really nice sounding speakers. They are exactly like the S Heresy you see behind it in the first photo, only difference is rear 4" round port and front slot port.

Your build looks very nice, would you share the build and cut sheets for them?
    Thanks
