Ok, after hearing everyone talk about how much better the sats sound with 16 gauge wire and stuff I went out and bought some. First of all, does the white stripe on Radioi Shack wire mean the positive and negative wire?? Second when I bought my gold plated mono connectors one of the terminals is longer than the other. Which is positive and which is negative??? The longer terminal or the shorter one??? Finally, they only had three connectors left so I will have to go out and get a forth one later, but having three speakers running off the new wire set and the forth running off stock wiring shouldn't hurt anything should it?? Any halp would be greatly appreciated. Late...

Yea, I had the same problem. I had installed the original drivers again to make sure it was the sound card and it sounded fine. It is just with the new drivers the rear right channel cracks when playing the test. It's all good and the AE/4.1 combo kicks ***. Late...

I got them!!!! Hahahahahaha! All I can say is that they absolutely kick ***. I never had the originals but they hit hard (even with an acoustic edge) and sound awesome!!!!! Later...

Now I know this subject has been beaten to death, but I can't descide whether to get the Acoustic Edge or a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 OEM. I keep reading that the Acoustic Edge has bass problems. The card sounds really cool with some nice features but if the bass and sound suck compared to the SB Live then I would get the Live. Is this Acoustic Edge problem going to be fixed in a future driver release? Is this a problem too with the new 4.1 speakers?? Any help or opinions would be great!
