1824M is much better than Klipsch K55V. I have two to offer.

The close proximity of the 2 drivers will give intermodulation effects. Paul Klipsch published a paper about that: A note on Modulation Distortion: Coaxial and spaced Tweeter-Woofer Loudspeaker Systems. To quote: "A loudspeaker radiating high frequencies in close proximity to a loudspeaker radiating low frequencies is observed to be subject to modulation distortion."
