  1. I'm hearing much more static through my RS-3's that I think I should be hearing, even at very moderate volumes. The static is only noticeable when there is sound coming through the speakers. In other words, if there is an audio signal, but the signal contains no volume, turning up the volume will not produce much static. But when there is volume in the signal, turning up the volume produces a great deal more static than I feel I should be hearing. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Both speakers are behaving the same way, but I doubt that they're operating properly.
  2. Hello, I have a question about rear surround speakers. I notice that Klipsch has their Reference RS-3 surround channels, but is there any reason I should not just buy a second pair of RF-3's to use as rear channels? Seems like they'd work fine, and produce more sound too.
  3. Hi, I'm looking to buy a pair of RF-3's, a RC-3 and a pair of RS-3's in the Boston area. I was considering buying them online, but the shipping costs could be considerable. The only place I can find to buy these speakers in the Boston area is Tweeters, which charges almost the full MSRP for them. Is there any retail store in the area where I can buy the reference set for at or near the prices available on the net? Thanks!
