  1. There should be some kind of upgrade for 4.1 owners Cya, ForMatPrO

No, I don't think it was hardware related, because they are all based on the emu10k1 proc... I guess my drivers were just messed up.
  3. I just rearranged my whole room for a good placement with the Pro's Also got my new system, 1.333Ghz, 512Meg DDR, MSI KT266 PRO, 60Gig IBM, 40Gig Maxtor and the Sblive 5.1 Now the Pro's REALLLLY RULE!!!!! Just awesome!!! Seems like a bad placement and my old Sblive value were the cause... What I reallly like is that I can put the volume to the max without playing music and I still can't hear any noise/static! ROCK ON!
  4. What is it with this board??? My first post never works???? (creates empty page) ----- I got my Promedia 4.1 Finally, after 2 months of waiting!!!! And I think they sound just AWESOOMME Glad I bought them! Only problem is that I think the sub is kinda weak (even that weak that I fear they are broken or something..) The sats sound really great, but with the windows volume at 75% and the pro's at 100% it is just loud enauf for my needs (yea, I like loud ) At max-level without distorsion they play as loud as my old Cambridge Microworks (not the cheap Pcworks) but with much beter quality...) Anyways, These are the best PC speakers I've ever had PERIOD! now I can say ROCK ON!!!!!c> too can't I??!!! )) Cya! ForMatPrO

  6. Ok, for some reason my previous post doesn't work??? (or is it my browser?) Anyway, I'm gonna buy my Klipsch Promedia 4.1 tomorrow!!! 230Volts version, I've been waiting 2months for this system to get here!! The only downside is that they ask 600$!!! thats twice the listed price here! Anyways, I was wondering if there were better options for that amount of money??? Something that is easy to find like for example Sony/Philips stuff... If no one replys with a good alternative I'm just going to buy the Promedias tomorrow
  7. Cool, finally gonna get my set tomorrow (the 230V version!!) Only a shame they ask twice the US price (600$!!!). I was wondering, for that money, couldn't I buy a better system that has a good availability??? Like Sony or something?

Yeah, I know, but I decided I don't wanna go through all the hassle like 100$ shipping and making a convertor... It shouldn't take to long before 230Volts are here (I hope) AMYYYY plzzzzzz tell me they are on their way

  10. Anyone in Europe got the ProMedias 4.1 yet?? (230V version) Klipsch told me a month ago that they should be here by now... soo??? I wish the importer in Belgium had them already so I could go and get em.
  11. quote: Originally posted by JakeTheSlayer: Actually RDRAM provides a lot more bandwidth than normal sdram True, in pure bandwidth it is much faster BUT because of its horrible latencies, it doesn't make it MUCH faster than regular SDRAM... So I would also, DEFINATLY, go with an athlon processor...

Over a gigahertz youre set till we get to 2Gigahertz + and the obsession for the biggest Johnson starts over again. What would the real difference be ooooeeee photoshop opened 0.002 seconds faster Well, if you compiling would take 120secs, the 1,3 Ghz could do it in 130 secs, a full 10 secs profit I think I'll also wait another week and get the 1.33Ghz C-core... with DDR & a Geforce 3 AMD rules! Hope everyone who wants them ,get's them!!! Finally! Awesome man!!! I'm glad you got'em! Enjoy! So, what do you think of them? Worth the wait? Hope I get them soon to! (probably end of the month)
