I'm not an expert, and they will surely soon chime in, but I believe Klipsch transitioned from stationary grilles to removable grilles at some point in the 70s. If they do not easy pry off, they probably aren't designed to be removed.

Klipsch was, however, recently acquired by Audiovox.

The Onkyo is perfectly adequate for your present situation. There is no need to worry about damaging the amp or your speakers. It will get hot, but this is simply a characteristic of Onkyo amps, not an indication that it's about to explode.

+1 This is the route to take prior to the HIII upgrade. Leftovers could be sold or used in some new boxes. So would I be best off in sending my crossovers in to have them rebuilt by Bob? Burn-in isn't inevitable with modern sets. I've used a 50" plasma as a computer monitor daily for over a year and a half without any permanent screen damage. Be careful with the set when its young and you're fine.

This movie was severely panned. I'm sure it's complete crap, but I might pick it up when the price drops. I've grabbed many movies just for their AV merits. I bought U571 just to watch the depth charge scene!
