The immersion set contains the blu-ray. No need for the SACD unless you are a completist collector.

I suggest not skimping on the center. Get the best you can afford, even if that means postponing other acquisitions. It's perhaps the most important channel for HT. And two subs requires 7.2.

I have about 20 of each. There is not a single SACD that sounds better than my worse sounding DVD-A. DVD-A buries the SACD format. At least to my ears... Mike Maybe you have not listened to the DSOTM SACD. I find the two formats indistinguishable and would attribute the apparent superiority of any disc to the strength of its mastering, or mixing in the case of surround tracks.

A friend of mine had a similar problem w/ his set. He purchased some replacement parts from a seller on ebay cheap that rectified the problem. I wish I could remember specifics to help you. They sure are amazing comp speakers.
