I have a new Gorgeous Dynamo ST35 I build for my office. Might be interested.
What Iron is on the 3.5s?

I actually sold it today. Had a nice guy offer
me asking price. So now I’ll place my C2700 order in the morning! Super excited.

I’m super mixed. I’d sell I think as I want rhe c2700 next year. It should come with Ethernet In so you can stream right to it. At this point, I only stream and play vinyl.

Decide to no use room correction couldn’t get minidsp to measure. Keeping my pre ;-).

Super kind. Thank you.
I’m working a ton. Both in my clinic which is a forensic setting and in the ER. Both are deemed essential. That part is good. But the high level of exposure causes anxiety. Does the best you can and try to not worry too much.- 2

Decided to my C2600. Hard to do better

I think of it as a brute force method. MOVs are sacrificial and can die unexpectedly. A big transformer isn’t magic but it does work 😉.

BTW with the PDF you have the basic parts needed. The transformer is from Avel Lindberg. The chassis was eBay. You can find a lot of great examples. The caps were mouser or parts express. The outlets. Keep it basic. Homedepot.

I have the deep core and the Equicore. The deep core paired with equicore with 6 Hubble duplex outlets are the for the source/pre. The deep core can vary the impedance between neutral and hot and stoped dc. I can’t hear the difference but a reviewer I trust swears buy it. The pair of deep core+ equicore is my front end duty setup for Quietest a operation. The power amps are into a equicore to. It’s a 15amp version of what I’ve been using. I did add an emi/tif filter to each but that’s me being anal retentive and overkill.

power cord.
Best sounding power cords Ive heard bar none.

Sold. Thanks guys.

Closely related to the Transcendent Sound Balanced power conditioner.
500KVA ~ 4amp conditioner.
Includes a balanced transformer which splits the power onto the Neutral and Hot 60V each.
This approach is significant reduces AC born noise, creates a huge common mode filter.
Additionally added an EMI/RFI filter.
Really lovely unit but my big amps needed a larger conditioners.
4 Hubbel outlets

At this point I really have 2 sources... digital and Vinyl.
I bought a MiniDSP SHD.
It will stream from my Roon server directly via ethernet and will do room correction.
I have swapped the McIntosh pre out as I will be building the new Sunvalley pre and it will go into the SHD too and allow me to do room correction for both sources.

I stepped up to Core-Power units.
They are known which is helpful when demoing for others and they are 15amp units.
So I went to an EquiCore unit for the sources and a separate Equicore unit for the amps.
My Zion Monos are inspired closely by the HK CitV but we turned into monos with tube rectification. Each has a 4amp SB fuse... needed a big box for them.
Here is the pics.

Here is the how to... hope this helps guys.

So I’ve decided to laminate 1/2 ply to the back and rout it out to have the first layer of the horn key into the 2nd layer. The idea is for constrained layer dampening and increase Rigidity. I will prime both sides to seal it all up.
when I finally get to build. I’ll dado in the baffle to some it ever coming lose.- 2

Cornscala build in the time of Covid.

slow progress but progress none the less.
3/4" CNC cut MDF baffle matted to 3/4" ply and hand cut. The 2nd layer of the horn now will key into the baffle the same way the 1st layer does.
The hope is that the baffle is more rigid and the the horn is better supported too.
After my existing Cornscalas are gone, Ill get to the building of this pair... I plan to dado the baffle into place.
Here are the progress pics.
