  1. OK thanks that’s very helpful! I have the original boxes with all packing material. They are still in excellent condition as they were only used once or twice over a month. I lowered the price as per your recommendation and will also take pics of the boxes. I did not want to unbox them, that’s why a local sale would be great. I am also wondering if I should keep them anyway rather than sell them at a really low price. I really enjoyed them but my living room at that time was too small for it so I packed them back up to make space. I don’t know if my Onkyo receiver works anymore. What’s a good receiver for this set? Thanks for all the help!
  2. What should I price it at? Is $1750 fair? I am Open to any offers, especially local.
  3. Location: Seattle area. Prefer Pick up or delivery in the area. $1200 or make a decent offer! Shipping will cost a fortune as the boxes are huge and heavy, so I prefer that you pick them up. But if you’re interested I can look into shipping for an additional cost. I can send pictures of the boxes to an interested buyer. 7. Did you finally sell the WF-35s? I have a smaller living room so I am planning to get the WF-35 theater. I am getting it for $1950 delivered for the 6 speakers and I plan to add an Onkyo TX-NR 807 receiver ($800). I don't have much space in my living room so I am wondering if this will work fine, or should I keep looking for RF-63s? 8. Yes Budman. All the speakers together (6) new and factory sealed from an authorized dealer are $1950 with tax and shipping. I negotiated a little and he agreed to do it if I pay cash. He also agreed to bring them over in his truck as the boxes are pretty large. He is listed on Klipsch website, and he called me from the listed phone number. I have seen this set online for approx $2500 with free shipping recently.
  9. I have the same question, I am a newbie buying a home theater system for the first time. I understand that WF-35 is the Icon series, which many on this forum say is below the Reference series. However, models may vary and I see some reference series home theaters selling for less than the WF-35 so I am confused. A dealer in my area is willing to sell a new factory sealed WF-35 system with the specs below for $1950 including shipping and tax so it seems like a nice model to buy. Let me know if you find anything more about it. (2) WF-35 Floorstanding Speakers (1) WC-24 Center Channel Speaker (2) WS-24 Surround Speakers (1) XW-500d Subwoofer Thanks!
  10. Thanks Youthman, and to all others who replied to my post. Very solid advice! I like the example of being a "hawk in a tree" and pouncing when dinner looks good. OK so I am taking the advice you all gave and abandoning the idea of purchasing the XF-48.I have seen some better ones already. I just saw another dealer offer on Craigslist, and spoke to the local dealer. He is willing to sell a new factory sealed Klipsch WF-35 Home Theater system (2) WF-35 Floorstanding Speakers (1) WC-24 Center Channel Speaker (2) WS-24 Surround Speakers (1) XW-500d Subwoofer for $1950 (including tax) shipped to my home (he will bring over in person). I checked on the Klipsch website and he is an authorized dealer. The retail on this system is $3750 on Klipsch website. Is this a good deal to swoop up? Or shall I keep looking? I also saw another pair of RF-15s used for $200 today. They need to sell today. I don't have enough experience to tell what is a good deal, so any advice is welcome. Thanks!
  11. I am setting up my first home theater so I am a complete newbie with no experience at all. I have been researching online for a system that fits my budget (under 2K) since I have to buy everything. I was planning to buy an Onkyo TX-SR 807 receiver paired with Klipsch Synergy mass market series - F-1 floor standing, C-1 center channel, S-1 Surrounds, SW-350 subwoofer for a total of $1669.00 (Onkyo $820, all Klipsch speakers together $849) However, I went to my local Best Buy today and they have an open box deal on Klipsch Icon series XF-48 speakers for $900 pair (original $2500) with 3 yr no interest financing. I am very tempted but I am not sure how these higher series active speakers will fit into my basic set up. The price is too good to pass these up. Can anyone give me advice on what else I may need to buy with these speakers? Can I still go with the Onkyo 807 receiver and basic center channel and surrounds? I also have a Buttkicker BKA300 which was gifted to me and I was thinking of adding to this set up. I will be listening to classical and rock music as well as watching blu-ray movies. Thanks in advance for your help. I am totally new to the Home Theater world so I appreciate your patience with my beginner's question.
