  1. Anyone else seen it? Very emotional movie. I enjoyed it.
  2. Almost forgot one! Snow Patrol - Final Straw Also, they have a B-side cover of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" that's pretty good(not on the album). Also, check out this song if you can download it somewhere: Green Day vs. Oasis vs. Travis vs. Eminem - Boulevard Of Broken Songs Party ben remix It's pretty, well, interesting

    KG4s

KG-1 or 1.2 would be good and small enough.
  4. Jimmy Eat World - Futures (alternative rock) Interpol - Antics (alternative rock. Sounds a lot like Joy Division) Cave In - Jupiter Cave In - Antenna (both good rock albums) Just stuff I've been listening to lately. Oh and The Cure. I missed out on a lot of good music having been born in the 80's.
  5. Real nmae is Dirk. Boogie Nights comes out, everyone calls me Dirk Diggler constantly, but soon got shortened to Diggs. Stuck from then on.
  6. 28 Days Later was sort of creepy.
  7. If you like closed rather than open and like the Sennheiser sound, go with the 280-Pro. They're only $60-$70 nowadays. I love mine.
  8. Bryston makes FANTASTIC amplifiers.

I agree entirely with both posts above.
  10. Everything will work out just fine. There is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your new setup.
  11. All Denon AVR's support at least 5 channel stereo as far as I know.

  13. I'll throw out a few suggestions: 30 Seconds to Mars Chevelle - Wonder What's Next (you probably already have this one, but who knows, maybe not) Year of the Rabbit My Vitriol - Fine Lines John Frusciante - To Record Only Water for Ten Days (gitarist from Chilli Peppers. Definitely "different") And I know I recommended them before, but Cave In!! Try: Tides of Tomorrow (It's a pretty cheap EP, amazon.com has it brand new under the new/used for $4.75) http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=CASS80305242342&sql=B1xkku3ejan7k
  14. Yeah, that sucks and happens quite often. I never had a bike at school for that reason, but I never needed one. I think it would be wise to bring it back when you get an apartment. (I would recommend the apartments on 4th St.) Can't remember what they were called (Wildwood?), but you can see them if you're driving North on Providence coming from Stadium Blvd and going towards Broadway. They're up on the hill to your right off Turner? Damn it's been awhile. Anyways, all the rooms have sinks in them, come with washer and dryer, and have 3 and 4 bedroom apts. Rent was a little over $1000 for 4 of us in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom, so not bad at all. Oh, and you can turn your stereo up as loud as you like, the walls between apartments are concrete (at least ours was). Neighbors said they never heard anything. Good place to live.
  15. Yeah, the people are great in Blue Springs, there's just not much to do there (not like there's much to do in KC anyways). Both of my brothers were in Gaines House. I think I still have some of their old shirts. Which math? 80? 175? Yeah, proseminar sucks. Just don't skip, or they'll nail you to a cross. As for the KA fraternity, a few of my high school buds joined and then turned into real big ********s and I haven't spoken to them since. Some of them were real cool though. Just remember, frat socials will take up a big chunk of your time, and if you're having a hard time with your classes, I wouldn't suggest rushing. That's how most kids drop out, they can't handle all the parties and their classes.
  16. So how do you like Mizzou? I dropped by on the way through last weekend on my way to St. Louis for a wedding to have some wings at CJ's (they used to be better, I dunno what happened). If you haven't had Shakespeare's Pizza yet, get on it. Damn good stuff. It's funny, I grew up in Blue Springs. I know a lot of people from there. Boring town IMO. Glad I left. Man I miss college. I'm assuming since your in Wolpers you're probably Engineering or Computer Science right? I stayed in Hudson up the road. Co-ed floors rock. A friend of mine is going to med school there, so I'll be there on a few weekends in the future. Good luck with school, and have fun (just not too much)
  17. I think we had about 0.12 inches of rain over about a 2 1/2 month span, and then we just got dumped on this weekend. This sucks. A family of 4 died when thir van got swept away, only the father survived; a teen died playing near a creek, and someone else got swept away in some flash flooding.
  18. If you don't want them, I sure do.
  19. ---------------- My basement flooded that day also. The water level in one of our window-wells was filling up about 8"/minute. I bailed water out in the freezing rain for 3 hours before my brothers came over with a submerable pump. I now own one. I never want to go through that again! ---------------- I hear ya. I got to bail water from 2:30 til almost 6 this morning til the rain let up and the water level wasn't rising anymore. Fun stuff. Fortunately our basement isn't finished and it isn't freezing outside.
  20. Yeah, my dad will look at them and go "You're moving those yourself." Plus, I'll be moving to an apartment and they'd probably take up the entire room. I would like to own some one day, just not feasable at this time. If I could leave them here, that'd be great, but I don't think my parents want me storing my stuff here.
