  1. Thanks a lot! I checked the connections and the purple plug was a little loose. Reconnected it and the rear right works perfectly! Thanks again! Micah
  2. I noticed just recently that my rear right channel is not working. I tested the speaker by hooking it up to the rear left out on the sub and the speaker works fine. I also tested the speaker wire and found that it works. This isolates the problem somewhere inside the subwoofer I guess. Are there any other tests I can run to determine the problem? If possible, I would like to afford any costly repairs. Thanks in advance, Micah
  3. I bought WinDVD2000 v2.6 off of eBay, and I think it may be a dud (no multi-channel support). Does anyone else have this version? Also, I read on the WinDVD FAQ that they purposefully made it difficult to use WinDVD with TV-out video cards. Has anyone been able to get TV-out to work with WinDVD? Thanks for the help, Micah
  4. I just ordered WinDVD with the multiple audio channel support. Does anyone the best audio options to set with the Klipsch Promedias and a SB Live X-Gamer (not the 5.1)? I want to get the best surround sound with the center channel downmixed to the front left and right channels. Oh, and CPU load isn't a problem (I'm running ~900Mhz) Thanks, Micah
  5. I thought it would probably be the 6 channel thing with me missing a center channel. I can't seem to find anywhere in the settings to set it up, though. The only audio options that I can find are the ones I listed. Is there a way I could upgrade ASUS DVD2000 to PowerDVD 3.0? That might fix it.
  6. I have the Klipsch Pro V2.400s with the updated pre-amp. When I'm watchind DVDs, the music and sound effects are great, but speech is almost silent. I am playing the DVDs with ASUS DVD2000, which as far as I can tell is a derivative of PowerDVD 2.55 Does anyone else have this problem? If I just turn the volume up, the hissing gets to be unbearable. Oh yeah, my soundcard is a sound blaster live x-gamer (just like the original sound blaster live). Also, what are the best audio settings? Here are my choices: I) Use DirectSound 1) A3D 2) DirectSound 3D 3) Dolby Surround 4) Stereo II) Use WaveOut 1) Dolby Surround 2) Stereo I would think that DirectSound 3D would be the best, but I want to make sure. Heck, I would use any of them if I could get the dialogue to work.
