On the subject of these little dry wiping cloths,Swiffers and the like, that i guess use static to grab dust and bunnies. Is there any danger of taking out components if they are used on your gear?

In the midst of a thunder storm the power went off for just a second and came right back on. When i turned my receiver back on i had to turn it up way beyond what i normaly do to get the same volume level. Did it take a hit from a spike or something.There is next to no bass and and my system sounds like crap. Is something like this excluded from manufacturers waranty? I am using a surge protector but it is one of those inexpensive, colorful little monster deals that you get from best buy. So what happens if you hook up both the d and the a from your dvd to your receiver?

Bloomis914...... Sorry i can't help you with s/n's but i can tell you that my cabs started to rattle during bass heavy music and movies, i mean a nasty rattle!

Identical situation for me..... My 4 yr. old 30's came unglued and all it took was a call to Klipsch and a call to the dealer i bought them from and two weeks later i am the proud owner of a brand new set. Very impressed with Klipsch customer service.

Anyone have any advice on how to tame the highs and massage a little more mids out of a pair of klf-30's? I am driving them with an Integra DTR-7.1. It just seems like these speakers should sound a little better than they do. They are positioned about 6' apart and about 10" from the wall with a slight inward angle. Any input would be appreciated.

my Legend 30's just developed a loud rattle that appears to be coming from where the baffle board mates with the cabinet. Is this a common occurance or do i have an isolated problem? The 30's are about 3.5 years old
