  1. You forgot to add, she will bring a good Pizza too!
  2. For Home Theater try the settings for all of your speakers at 80Hz. (I know just trust me). Also let the receiver set the sub cutoff again at 80Hz (don’t run the sub at 80 but put it as high as it goes. Again the sub will be cut off per the Marantz.). Do this. Live with it a few days and don’t change it. THEN get back to me. I think you will be blown away. Now for straight two channel, of course, run them full range. Trust me, then get back to the forum with your thoughts!
  3. I work in a call center "environment." I want and need these! Keep me from going to the dark side... w / B@$E Noise cancelling and a good fit... It's Klipsch, I am in! Please rush me a pair ASAP!!! I will write reviews and help others to lead a path to your door!
  4. I will say it before it arrives and he goes WOW!!!!! I WANT ONE NOW!!!!!!!
  5. Do not be afraid even to save yourself some major money and get some decent lamp cord at Home Depot for Speaker wire. I promise you, it will not kill you! Make both sides the same length. Have your "friends" come over with esoteric $2,000. cables and see if you can hear tell a difference..My guess is, you just might be surprised. And, you will have enough money to go our to dinner, buy some more stuff.. Buy stuff for your other half, and keep him/her happy too. OK, the "cable snobs" can pelt me now!!!!!
  6. That 510 horn would be real nice on a La Scala top for real!!
  7. One more thing, if they are split industrials put a milk carton between them. Toe them into your sweet spot with a laser pointer! You will thank me later!!!
  8. So, 200w for a great amp powering La Scala's got me to thinking. No one in their right or left mind wants these at that level! It would be uncomfortable to say the least! Now a good clean amp at 200 WPC to handle say a gunshot or cannon explosion. Yes, in my HT it goes right through your chest and you feel the air move, too, like it happened to you! People underestimate how efficient these are and how little it takes to drive them too. And if the old rule is you double the wattage to feel/hear a 2-3db difference.... So again, other than headroom, your never gonna need more than 200WPC and it's only going to feel 2-3db more. Which at that level can you tell really? Just saying!
  9. Thank you very much. The final was two La Scala bottoms for the center channel. So three tops and four bottoms. I can't stress enough if you like things going from off camera left, to left, center, right, right off camera or anywhere inbetween.... having the same speakers left, center, right is the perfect thing to do Timbre wise in the mids and highs especially! My second trick, (if you have split La Scala's) put a milk carton between the top and bottom cabinets. I went overboard and added the Auralex stabilizer to eliminate and chance of vibration too. Getting the tops up a little really, really, really, (-and I am serious). Really makes the La Scala's sound sooooo much better!

  15. Really excited to know what you think.... They look spec wise just incredible!!!!
  16. I found the La Scalas with the 2 THX subs and the Klipsch KA1000 amp worked really well together..
  17. I still stand by whatever you use left and right.. Use the same one for the middle.. As for height issues... if your using La Scalas... get the split ones for the middle..
  18. All three the same up front... You will thank me later.
  19. I have seen these 60th versions up close.. As far as finish and beauty..10+++ I know of one other pair in the USA... That is it.. If this is your ultimate speaker... and like a "weekend only driving car" you have the means to be happy for life with them.... Everyday!! If you can manage it... I suggest doing it.
  20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-KLIPSCH-TSCM-THEATER-CLUB-OR-HOME-SPEAKERS-/290874675025?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item43b97b4f51 I have no connection to this sale... I do, however, know exactly how this would sound.... and I am drooling here!
  21. You mean have people come to your house... to listen to audio or a HT setup? Your kidding right? I mean these people are strangers, who knows what ideas or things they might bring over to demo. You may find some of them travel from long distances and wish to spend the night too? Oh my, then what will you do? You might get robbed, or they might break something too? And what if they critisize what you have put together for years too? Will that break your heart or ego? This is the internet right? Where were taught to be over cautious and expect the worst!!! OR You may find someone just as nutty as you are, (Sorry it is true) and have a bond instantly... But not because your showing off what you have, YOUR SHARING IT.... and bringing joy to others too! Trust me, they will "get it" as soon as the audio comes on and they feel it... It's like audio heaven!
  22. Thats what I was hoping too Bruce. I dissapeared for a while.. Glad to be back!
