running an HSU VTF-1MK2 in walnut finish. Nothing too huge for this room- fits perfectly for music. But it goes low enough-I have the volume on low too.

yes I do. Lots of sacd & dvd audio. I know some might think it gimmicky- but the five channel stereo mode sounds really good when playing just cds. I play lots of two-channel also-but was just listening to the new blu-ray audio of goodbye yellow brick road- and it really rocks in 5.1.

Its for my office so basically as I am working on the computer or doing some paperwork I can play some music. I have a home theater setup in my living room, RF7 set up, which I love. Just started a house addition (broke ground this week) and I will be building a dedicated media/movie room for that set up. I'm sure I'll get the upgrade bug sooner or later too for that system. but for now I have no complaints. I will definitely set up the new room for music & movies since it will be larger and a bit more comfortable to enjoy music.

thanks, I also hooked up my HD-XA2 HDdvd player to see how it sounds through the analogs. I've read that it used some pretty good DACs.( Wolfson WM8740 hi performance stereo DAC) I must say its a hell of a cd player. sounds great on the new speakers. good to get some use out of some older gear. The only downside is the player is a bit noisy. I also tried out my old Sony DVPS-7000 as a cd player too for the hell of it. Definitely having some fun with the new setup. Huge step up in soundstage from previous setup.

Haven't posted here in ages- but I recently purchased a new setup for my office, for music only. Picked up some RF62 II, RC62II and a pair of RF52II for surrounds all in cherry. SO far I think it sounds great. Picked up a new OPPO 103 too so now I can play al formats of music on disc or digital files. Though I would share a few pics. I traded up from 2-pair of RB3's and a RC52 center. I've been buying tons of new discs lately so I figured I should get a proper set up to listen to them all.

I checked the ebay link- is that the going price for a pair of new RS7's? I have a new pair still in the box-never used (black). Kman

thats funny-I just sold off a pair of KLF30s and a pair of Chorus speakers. The wife like the looks of the Chorus speakers better (oiled oak). The klf30s are much larger. sound wise-can't go wrong with either one. I used the KLF's manily for movies some music. the chorus speakers were music only-but they sure sound sweet. Kman

Hi, I was curious if anyone knows what the going rate would be on a new-in the box pair of RS7 surrounds? thanks abunch Kman

Jeff, sent you an email Kman

looking for some advice I guess-have a potential customer who is willing to buy the KLF30s along with the KLFC7 center for around $900- do you guys think this is a fair price-or does it seem a little low- I am just not sure exactly if I want to let them go at that price- any advice? thanks Kman

these are oak oil-not a mark on them. thanks for your response. I was thinking maybe here-if not maybe craigslist- but last time I did that it seems everyone beleives they can barter you down to nothing-but not with these. I'd keep them first. thanks again Kman

I am thinking about trying to sell a pair of Chorus I speakers-in excellent shape- infact they have been in their original boxes in my closet since 1999, so its fair to say- they really aren't getting much use these days. Just curious as to what the going rate is on these and how high or low should I go?-thanks Kman
-
yes, I love the speakers-but I just don't really use them anymore- I have a RF7 system that I use ofr movies and stuff- and put this system in another room months ago (just unpacked the KLFs after several years of sitting in their boxes in a closet-still have the chorus's in the closet) then after I set it all up I never really used it-kind of a waste really. Hopefully I can find someone who wants them. Kman

Just wondering if my prices were considered okay-I looked around at other offers-seem to be in the ballpark-any input? thanks Kman

sadly I am looking to sell some very nice stuff. All are in excellent-mint condition and have original boxes and all have not been used in many years (I moved into a new house). first is a pair of KLF30s-light oak-and a center KLFC7 (want to sell together, sorry). Asking $1400 for all. Secondly is a pair of Chorus I speakers- still in original boxes since 1999-asking $550. Hopefully I can find a good home for these. reasons for selling-not being used-house needs some serious landscape work. Thanks Kman

You didn't make a mistake- as the owner of both RF7s and KLF30s- I can honestly say that they both are great speakers(why do you think I still have the klf30s). I also have a pair of Chorus speakers(even though they have been in their boxes for the last 5 years)-they too sound different but still sound awesome-and I didn't think about dumping them when I picked up the KLF30s. don't listen too much what others say- you decide-if your happy then thats it-done deal. Don't fret about them-enjoy them! Kman

I mentioned these before on the site before, had a few bites but nothing came about- so I figured I would try it again since I am not using them- I bought them new in 1999-early 2000 and used them for only 6 moths or so and they have been in their box ever since- I moved a few times and finally settled into a new house but I have another system I am using for HT now 9Reference set up). they are mint and the color is black- asking $400 plus shipping (from MA) Kman
