  1. Wow if the RC-3 were really new then I would pay a 100 bucks plus shipping to set up a 6.1 system.
  2. You are pretty good, I have a Yamaha RX-V2095 so my crossover is always set according to my owners manuel. As for the inputs they are line level through the LFE but using speaker level has crossed my mind. Now if I could just rememeber that crossover point.....
  3. I am having trouble with a disease commonly diagnosed as "perfectionism" so I have decided to do what I always do when I have an attack (my term for not being able to make up my mind)...ask someone else's opinion. My current system consists of: Fronts: Klipsch RF-3 Rears : Klipsch RF-3 center: Klipsch RC-3 Subwoofer: Velodyne FSR-18 cables: Mostly monster reference My problem is that I cannot find that critical point at which to set my subwoofers crossover since I believe that the RF-3's do a fairly good job with bass reproduction. For all of the owners of the RF-3's what do you set your crossover's on when playing music as well watching movies? I want to find the sweet spot where the two blend effortlessly without overworking the RF-3's on bassy notes for music and LFE material. Any cures to my problem are truly welcome... -Eric
  4. I am looking for some advice on two receivers in regards to my home theater. My current setup is as follows: Yamaha RX-V2095 reciever Pioneer DV-C603 dvd player (4) Klipsch Rf-3's for the fromts and surrounds (1) Rc-3 center (1) velodyne FSR-18 subwoofer What I need help on is whether or not I should upgrade to the RX-V1 reciever or stay where I am. I have been offered a pretty good deal on the RX-V1 but cannot decide whether it is worth the extra 700-800 I would have to pay for it if I sold the 2095. I guess that my question or dilemma rather is whether this is justifiable or a waste of money as I currently enjoy my 2095 very much and all of my speakers are sensitive enough to be driven by my receiver without much of a problem. On the other hand upgrading would give me more sound formats as well as more power (10 watts to be exact on 5 channels plus an additional 100 on the 6th). Any comments as to the situation or my system would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all that respond.
