  1. Hey, I need a new portable CD player. Which CD player available on the market now has the best sound quality? I went into places like Walmart and Target and it's like all the CD players are now focusing more on X-tremism and crazy new features rather than good sound quality (based on reviews I've read). I just really need a nice sounding CD player to take advantage of my Grado headphones. I'd appreciate any input. - Brett
  2. You might try poking about The Cable Company website at fatwyre.com - in particular, take note of the Tara Labs Zero interconnect that goes for $12,800 for .5 meter (18 inches). I sure hope is sounds really, really good. Jeez O Flip! When you spend $12,800 on a short run of cables, your "hobby" has become an irrational obsession.
  3. I've heard conflicting things about Monster cable. Some people claim that it's way over priced and that cheaper brands get better signal transfer. Yet people from the other side of the field say that Monster is better than those lower priced cables, and aren't too overpriced. Although, we can all agree they are overpriced, at least to an extent. So... Really what I'd like is maybe a link to some technical analysis that compares some Monster interconnect to a "cheaper" model. Thanks.
  4. I just got my new set of ProMedia 2.1 speakers and they sound great! The quality is amazing and the bass is deafening. I have one question though, are there any health concerns I should have with the bass of the subwoofer (such as liquified bowels, shrunken genitals, tumors, etc.)? Until I get a reply I'll keep the bass down. (I normally have it at about 25% the max)
  5. I was ordering a set of ProMedia 2.1 speakers through this website when I get to the credit card info part of the ordering. In bold red letters it says: quote: After pressing the purchase button below your credit card will be charged. If you receive an error do not go back and press the purchase button again. Please call customer service at: 1-888-554-5665. So I enter all the info, and when I click "Purchase" I get this error message: quote: We are sorry, but we are unable to process your request: Changes to the data require your review. Please review and resubmit. Please go back and correct the error and try again. I don't know which one to listen to. Should I go back and re-enter the info and press Purchase again? Or should I leave it at that and hope that the speakers arrive some day? Also, after I got that error message and pressed the back button, the shipping cost went from $16 to a mere $4. PLEASE HELP, because I am just leaving the browser open until I get further instructions.
