  1. What is your price range? I auditioned a Marantz receiver today and was impressed. If I was to buy an AVR right now, that would be at the top of my list.
  2. Cool review. Thanks for posting. I believe I had the original issue back in 1986.
  3. Very funny guy. He will be missed. RIP.
  4. I make sure I stop by Sims everytime I am in central Arkansas.
  5. I was in the Castleton Best Buy Magnolia on Monday. They had Martin Logan, Def Tech, B&W, and Mirage for speakers but no Klipsch. I think the main sales floor still has a couple Icon series.
  6. I saw a pair of Klipsch speakers suspended from the ceiling at the Indianapolis Zoo this weekend. Due to the very dim room lighting I could not get a decent pic of them. Unfortunately the zoo is not exclusively Klipsch, because I also saw JBL, EV, and Bose while I was there.
  7. You got that system at a great price. Love that view.
  8. Man, those Jarts bring back memories. Cornhole and horsehoes is just not as much fun.
  9. That was what I was wondering. Nevertheless, that was impressive.
  10. That is a great DVD, I am going to see them in Columbus in less than 3 weeks.
  11. Sad to hear. He played a lot with Windy Austin & The Hot House Tomato Boys in the Little Rock area back in the 80s.
  12. Go Colts!!! Can't wait for football season.
  13. I have heard that he is putting on a great show with this tour. Robinson is a great place for a show. Hopefully, I can catch him this go around. I saw Plant/Page back in 1995 and it was a killer show. Thanks for the review. By the way....Glad to see there is another Bryant guy on the forum, even though I moved awy many years ago, I still tell people I am from Bryant.
  14. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I agree I cannot fathom why someone would take their own life.
  15. Nice find. Looks like you got yourself a good deal. Anytime something comes up like that on my local CL, I always seem to miss it by just a few minutes or it is extremely overpriced.
  16. Just when you think you have heard of everything.
  17. I had Durhams do some work for me many years ago when I still lived in the Little Rock area. It was just some minor work on a Pioneer receiver I had at the time. I have no problems with Durhams or the quality of their work. However, since you have a Mac, I would go ahead and get a restoration done on it.
  18. He was one of my all-time favorite singers. He will be missed. RIP.
  19. I'll chime in for another vote for you to get the Forte's. I love mine and I have mine in a small room (12 X 12).
  20. That is a great looking receiver. Enjoy.
