Receiver is in great shape a solid 8.5/10 condition. Sounds amazing with klipsch speakers, a pleasant warm sound but powerful and clear. I have it listed on ebay now. Really not too sure what it is worth as not many have sold recently if anyone has any input. $500 shipped and i will cover paypal fees to a klipsch member. Located in South Bend Indiana
  2. Black, unsure on age. Will not ship

Trying to downsize as i have an extra set of speakers with nowhere to put them. I said i would never sell the 63s but i have them in my unfinished basement and the plastic on the wall results in poor bass production. 63s are in excellent shape. 8.5 out of ten. No major blemishes. They have been taken care of. One small crease in a woofer, i posted a pic of this on another thread and people could not even see it. Speakers perform perfectly.
  4. Yes sir, or there was a childs toy stuck to that woofer magnet when i bought it. It is around $50 for a new woofer.
  5. It is where the copper meets the black on te upper right area f the woofer, no that is not a light trick. I missed it until i started doing sittups in front of the speakers, now it bugs me. Wonder if it will be a problem if the speakers were pushed hard though
  6. This is on the bottom woofer on one of my RF-63s. It is small and the way it is angled makes it tought to see (crease at 2 o clock position on woofer). Do you think this could ever morph into a worse problem and i should order a replacement now or is it just cosmetic? Really do not have extra cash to spend right now
  7. I was really impressed with the preamp. Really has me wondering what the pair would sound like.
  8. It is not letting me upload pics of the amp as it says the file sizes are over 2mb. I am on my ipad so cannot shrink them right now.
  9. This is the worst string of defects on either pieces.
  10. Offering them here first. Both items are a solid 8/10 condition. No dents but some small scratches here and there. These are mostly at the edges of the sides. Preamp works great! Sounds better than my emotiva ta-100 preamp! Comes with remote. Asking $400 plus shipping and paypal fees. The amp produces low and distorted sound, upon pulling the top i see two resistors fried and a blown fuse. I have not tried replacing the fuse. Asking $175 plus shipping and paypal. The preamp is pretty light and the amp is kind of heavy as you would imagine. I would love to keep these as i think they are a perfect match for klipsch but i have other priorities and just bought an emotiva combo. Have not had a technician look at the amp yet. Located in South Bend Infiana but travel to Grand Rapids Michigan once a month.
  11. I saw his website and i have good faith that he would be the one to fix it, but this is not a sunfire signature grand. Not sure i want to put $450 into it getting it fixed. The person i was going to take it to would be local when i visit my parents which i do almost monthly. I am not sure of his expertise but he recently did a recap of a hk 730 for a forum member here
  12. I recently got a sunfire symphonic reference preamp and amp vintage 2002. The preamp sounds awesome! The amp has low distorted output. Upon pulling the cover i see two burnt resistors and a blown fuse on the main board, which is not easy to access and tough but doable to pull out (have not nor will not try this). These are the affordable sunfire seperates and there are not parts available. Has anyone with a similar issue had their amp repaired without just getting a new board? Someone referred me to a repair guy who's bench fee is $75 which is okay if he can repair it but i would rather just sell it for parts if this sounds like a really tough repair.
  13. Might have better luck in the garage sale section. I would try to sell it locally on craigslist. I don't think it is worth much. Why not keep it? What brought you to this forum?
  14. I believe you keep posting the same speakers. You can bump your old thread by replying to it.
  15. That KV4 looks familiar wow, those CF4s are huge!
  16. I believe there is a guy on ebay who repairs those amps. Hopefully someone else can chime in
