I'm really happy with the way everything turned out. When I set out on this trip I wanted to minimalize as much as possible but it seems lately I have been adding a component here and a component there. Its usually very tidy but Christmas kinda spills over. I need to add more treatments but what I have work pretty well
The big speakers in the bottom of the first picture are some Pioneers for my son who just turned 22, 2 days ago. he bought his own house and has a room he hangs out in...the apple doesn't fall far haha

Long story short....the house had been remodeled in 2014 and I think they tried to cut corners. The electrician was able to fix the problem and it worked out great for me because he was able to make it possible to use my monoblocks and I didn't have to worry about the house burning down

The rug I'm using now is way too small and I'm on the hunt for a larger one. I've got a few idea and will start the process of going down the room treating rabbit hole haha

All the other outlets voltages (in the dedicated music room) tested fine. The reason I noticed the issue is because I plugged my Tripp Lite isobar ultra into the plugin with the low voltage and a warning light came on and it made a buzzing sound.
I felt no need to test the other outlets. I guess I just assumed you plug something in and it's supposed to work

I wish I had the knowledge and balls to do it myself but I don't. I know a lot about a lot if other useless stuff....just not electricity

Updated info with pictures. The pool table was disassembled yesterday so I pretty much have a bare canvas. It is awfully echoie so I had a rug and listening chair which doesn't help much
Unfortunately the one outlet where I was going to hook everything up is causing me issues. It only reads 55 volts and the other 3 outlets in that room have issues as well. They seem to work but I bought a tester and it reads HOT/GRD REV but it's not that cause we checked them all. I called an electrician and had to be put on a list. Fortunately I may have figured something out to work in the meantime.

Im gonna drop the price one last time. if they don't sell at my asking price i will either sell them on ebay or i may end up keeping them and use one as a center for Klipschorns
For what its worth I'm only doing this for forum members and I'm keeping the price the same on the other sites they are being sold at

Quad Khorns i have the Type AA that originally came with the speakers. I didn't use the Deans because i just wanted to hook them up to listen as soon as possible
This is not my first time with Khorns but it is the first time with decent corners and quality electronics. I'll be running them with a pair of VRD monoblocks so that will tame them a bit

i have them in the corners on the long wall...ill post a pic later tonight. i have to wait till Feb 6 to disassemble the pool table so that's kind of a buzz kill but with everything in disarray i quickly hooked them up to my Anthem 225 integrated (with stock x-overs) just to see how they sounded and it was freaking glorious....even my 3 year old commented on how good they sounded haha
I'm going to focus on treating the room now since the floor is laminate. Its a tad bright but that's to be expected

Here they.are....unfortunately I still have a lot to do including moving the records and I have to wait till Feb 6 for the pool table to be moved but I'm still gonna make things work. The speakers are way bigger than I realized

I did and they are more beautiful (and bigger) than i imagined. The seller even imcluded some Dean G Super AA networks!!
After a 12 hour round trip I had no energy to unload them last night so I'll post some pics later today

I'm going to pick up the Klipschorns this Saturday so someone come and buy my Cornwalls so I can audition them properly.
It's gonna be tight with a pair of Cornwalls, a pair of Klipschorns and over 6000 records haha
