  1. You want a sample with my audio equipment if so which setup?
  2. Thanks for giving a summary of your problem and what steps were taken to correct it. I just recently purchased a pair with the Dean G networks so I'm reading all I can on them. Thanks again..now lets rock!
  3. I just picked this up yesterday so I don't have much saddle time with it yet, I've cycled through the disc 3 or 4 times. This one is more like the 2 and 3rd records not as much "programming" sounds as in sci-fi crimes, a hella lot of good riffs on this record. I recommend it if you are a chevelle fan.
  4. Sorry can't really help as I just ordered my first 2 SACD's. Brothers In Arms and Hotel California.
  5. Cool thanks for the pic I got him both!
  6. Thanks for the info I'll look that receiver up. I pulled the trigger and bought a set from a fellow forum member. So far I love them I will look at adding the C7 in the future.
  7. I asked this over in the 2 channel area but not much luck, hoping there are more KLF owners over here that can help out. I'm currently in the market for a set of KLF 20's or 30's. Why well just because I want a pair lol. Anyway these will be moved into the living room and will be used mostly for TV shows and movie watching with occasional music when the wife isn't around and I can crank them . I currently have a set of Hii's with a SVS PB10 sub. My question is what receiver would be a good fit with the KLF's? I will need 4 HDMI inputs, budget of 400.00 and I only plan on having a 5.1 surround system.
  8. Maybe I should ask this question over in the Home Theatre section?
  9. My story told before but hey what the heck. I had a roommate in college who was a nephew of the klipsch family. He brought in 2 k-horns with 2 heresy's I don't remember the tuner he had. Anyway I was looking at these big ole things and I was like what the heck is that. He says to me its my uncles speakers! Then he brought in these "little" speakers and I was amazed that he had 4 speakers because at the time all I had was a cheap boombox. Anyway he proceeded to run the wire and get everything hooked up. Threw some Bad Company "Rock Steady" actually into the CD player. He told me to stand right here which I guess was the middle part of the room, lastly he said welcome to the best speaker ever made and he hit the play button and turned the volume dial.....holy *** is all I remember. I had never heard anything like that sound before and I was completly blown away. Needless to say that semester was fun to say the least, sure wish I would have kept in touch with him. Anyway that is how i was introduced to Klipsch and to the cops as we got lots of "disturbing the peace" warnings!!
  10. Can anyone else recommend a receiver? The system this will replace is my living room system in my signature. I'm going this weekend to look at a set and most likely purchase so I need something to hook these babies up to when I get home!! Your recommendations are appreciated. Budget = 450.00 Must have 4 HDMI outputs I'll only have the 2 KLF's and maybe the sub at this time, Center and 2 surrounds way down the road (Mid Spring). 70% TV 20%Movies 10% Music
  11. i dig that first album Ratt Invasion of your privacy my favorite by those guys!!
  12. I found Live in Texas and Double Down......tough choice. My brother in law does not have blu ray yet so that doesn't matter.
  13. I'm looking for a good live dvd of zz for my brother in law for christmas, do any of you have a recommendation?
  14. Not sure how much help I can be but I'll offer my advice anyway. I have a set of Forte II's and love them. I sold my cornwalls and have not looked back as for me they a perfect for my listening room. This was my approach when I had the cornwalls. I bought a little Dayton Audio DTA-100a T-Amp and boy was I surprised and how well this thing performs, I hooked my iPod straight to it via the rear rya inputs. I bought this so I could listen to the cornwalls and save some cash in the audio fund for a better amp and a pre. I ended up buying a Juicy Music PEACH pre from a fellow forum member and a McInosh 2105 as the amp. I can tell you I will never part with either as this combination has worked very well for me and my Forte II's. I hope your journey is as rewarding as mine has been. Jerry
  15. Well the local seller never returned my calls, so I'm still on the hunt. Just curious what you guys that do have 20's or 30's are using to drive them? I have a JM Peach and a MC 2105 running my Forte II and love that combo.
  16. Agree I own one of these as my backup amp. I have put my Fortes on it and my Heresey ii's on it and the both sound fantastic. Its worth 100 bucks to give it a try and if you don't like it you can always keep it as a backup. It also makes it easy to take when auditioning future purchases.
  17. I love the store been waiting for awhile to have more Klipsch items. I think it would be cool to have some t-shirts of the different heritage items like Cornwall, Heresy, La Scala etc etc.
  18. Thanks I went from Cornwalls to these and haven't looked back.
  19. I agree with everything said here. I currently own both as a matter of fact i just posted a video of both setups playing on the show off your 2 channel setup thread. Anyway i love the HII but I always head to my room to listen to the Forte II's.
  20. Not sure why it's rotating my pics they are not like that on my laptop. Any way couple videos below.
  21. Here is the "Man Room" not really a man cave but it's mine to do what I please.!
  22. Sweet hopefully the seller will return my calls!
  23. I'm currently in the market for a set of KLF 20's or 30's. Why well just because I want a pair lol. I currently have a set of Hii's with a SVS PB10 sub. My question is what can I expect with this combo?
  24. I have the similar setup. I have 2 ATV2's one in the living room one in the man cave. The great thing about this setup is I can stream the same song to both rooms at the same time..... absolutely love it!
