CECA....Anthem =[] My surrounds never sounded so good. The dialog, spot on.(toook care of the SSSss in some dialog) I dunno what im over looking in the bass managment yet, seems little weak? Also, dont seem to be many mode choices for 5.1?? Just got it last night so im not that familiar with it yet What be a good crossover for the 7s? I like to feed them bass. I have fronts crossed at 40..sub at 80 make sense?? I think 40 up will go to 7s and 80 down to sub?

(Threadjack in progress) What amp(s) are you going to pair it with? I like the sound of B&K AVR with my 7s ...so I went with a B&K Reference amp. I did give a Cary 11 preamp a try, besides something being wrong with it, (audio drop out) the EQ sucked. I am not impressed with Cary Audio experience. If im not happy with the Anthem, your to blame lol

ThanksCECA, sound quailty in my main priority. I hope it sounds as good or better then my B&K. The D1 will be here early next week.

How are you liking your D2 ? Do you know if ARC is available for the D1? Also, TV broadcast HD , are they including HD sound? I notice some HD channels are not even DD. If True HD is not being transmitted yet, its really no big benefit to me, neither is HDMI.

Congrats on your system. My first setup was a little cube speaker 5.1 about 10 watts per chanel. The center was about as big as my palm. I thought it sounded fantastic compared to the tv speakers. years later im still upgrading. I lost interest for a few years and have the bug again. Enjoy your setup!

Is there a big difference in sound between Dolby HD and say DTS or DD? Enough to upgrade to Dolbly HD? I am quite happy with DTS and DD, I cant Iimagine HD sound much better??

I already seen these for $12k.......I hope a bunch of these were manufactured, 5 10 years down the road they will be in my price range.

Interesting...I just got some 7s and love em, more power would be nice if its as clean as what I have now at EMO prices. Did you have the upgrade to your 7s?

Anyone compare the Emotivas to B&K amps or AVR? The price scares me. I read good reviews on some internet brand speakers, used them a week sent them back.

Mbr311 Its taking advantage in a good way. People have a choice...if they can spend $700.00 on wire, im glad they got it like that, spend it. Im glad companies can charge what they want for a product, regardless of what it cost them to make or puchase it. That is what help make the USA as we" knew it... I know I spent too much on junk before, it was my ignorance that cost me thank god for the internet

I had the 35 for 2 days and took it back and got the 62 ...62 was 3 times better IMO.. The 62 rocks and I have one for sale mint like new. I used it 2 years ..just upgraded to the RC7
