  1. Email with intent to purchase sent. They do look purdy!
  2. Don't overlook the APC H15. May not have battery back up or the highest equipment protection amount but can be had for less than $180 via online specials. Black face model typicaly sells at higher price than silver. Voltage fluctuates drastically in my neighborhood and the avr function maintains constant output voltage. The front panel light can be dimmed or turned off to suit your preference.
  3. Set the bass out to mains + subwoofer in receiver set up. Try reversing the phase of the subwoofer. This made a world of difference for me. When the phase of the sub was set at normal, it seem to cancel out the bass from the mains. Also, check the parametric eq settings in the receiver set up, I prefer "through" mode as natural or flat settings boosted the high freqs.
  4. If necessary, replacing the tweeter diaphragms is very easy in the CW II.
  5. No experience with type A but noticed a huge improvement with the Crites A/4500. [] Your Crites crossovers should have a serial number. Email Bob and ask him about changing caps. Bob has always been prompt in replying with good advice.
  6. Buy 2 Heresy's for every Cornscala you plan to buy. Then, after several months, sell the Heresy's as you buy the Cornscalas. The wife will be happy you've culled the herd by 50% and speaker size will not be an issue. This worked very well when I bought my K-horns.[]
  7. The Z7 has rocked my cave for about 18 months now. I have found it very complex yet user friendly. If it could only brew my coffee in the morning...
  8. I backed off the screw terminals to expose the hole and plugged the banana plug in. They fit nice at a slightly downward angle but do not allow the speaker to fit flush against the wall (about 1/2 in gap). I learn something new everyday from this forum.[]
