  1. Thanks Gill, Sounds more complicated than I thought. My wife is already upset at yet another purchase of speakers and if I don't act like I know what I'm talking about or doing I cop her wrath all over again. Rusty
  2. I have just purchased a pair of HS2 Outdoor speakers. I am a bit confused as to the 25v 70v output setting. What should I set this at? My Amp is a 100w Mcintosh MC7100. Rusty
  3. I have been to his web site and he has them listed there for $1,579 http://www.acousticsounddesign.com
  4. It aint over till the fat speaker sings!
  5. I put my hand up for one of them tee shirts. I know I am still just a newbee on this BB compared to some of you guys, I was first Klipsched in the earily '70's and promise I will get my posts up if there's a shiny new tee shirt on offer. Rusty
  6. oh man... Can't belive I spelled Klipsch wrong 3 times in my last post. sorry Rusty
  7. I have lived in Sydney for 16 years after re-locating from the Denver area. We have only one dealer in Australia who is mainly in it to supply to the Cinima Industry. Until I got online I hadn't realized how extensive the Klipsh range had become. My last purchase was a pair of Kg1.2 for the spare room back in'92 a friend visiting Sydney brought them for me. I would love to own again the beloved Belle's I left behind, but could only manage to replace them with HeresyII (if you can call that a replacement). My point is at least you guys can listen and compare the new products even if the sales guys aren't properly representing them. I did notice however that Listen Up in Denver, my old high end audio store, no longer supplies the Klipsh range. So there must be something in what everyone is saying. How do I go about becoming a distributor for Klipsh Australia. Rusty
  8. avman, not only did they look different, I'm suprised they even survived the Trip downunda!
  9. Ross, Thanks for the offer. Couple of problems with bringing them back the least of them is the import Duty. The main problem is the Wife Factor. I know there is a whole section on this BB dedicated to this topic. It must be a global female thing not to appreciate a good sound system! Rusty
  10. The only Acid I ever experimented with on a speaker was Lysergic Acid and it definitely produced a difference to the sound of my Heresy ii's. Rusty
  11. Ross, Whatever you are talking in price multiply that by 2 and that will give you the Aussie equivalent in dollars... the price I pay for relocating to the lucky Country. PS what is the price of the new sub
  12. In my house I'm the boss cause my wife lets me. Rusty
  13. How long before the Jubilee's make it to the shores of Oz (Australia) Rusty
  14. Yeah I agree with this especially on those afternoon soaps... talk about overacting, but hey even Rick Springfield is making a comeback in Vegas
