  1. @mustang_flhtThanks for your response. Oops that indeed should be K33 (because I have been using this Xover on my H1.5 to H111 upgrade I had subconsciously mentioned H111 woofer (https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/201920-heresy-15-to-hiii-conversion/#comment-2653754).

Yes 1.5 uF is the parallel cap on K53Ti and it was missed mention.

And P/N is 1000472.Rev.A bought in Jan 2010.

As far as inductor reversal let me re-check and get back.

    Thanks

  2. Thanks for creating the one thread. Great idea. However that Cornwall III thread is cluttered way too much with everything but Cornwall III. Maybe you can rename that as something (which will be a challenge as it has so many models and networks) and create a new Page thread for Cornwall III. For now I will attach here.

    Thanks

  3. The Bass improvement with K28 over K22 is significant. There is more mid bass warmth and more fullness. Overall I find these awesome. I have had so many "so called" auidiophile speakers but none let me enjoy music like these even when I am in next room. I like this even more than my Cornscala I built 12 years ago.

  4. @Pondoro

Not much really. The K22 woofers were replaced with K28. The original K53, K77 and Original crossover left alone inside. The K28 woofers directly connected to Binding post which is fed by the bass Section of New Crossover.

I had originally just placed the new mid and Tweeter Horns on top the cabinet since the Motorboard of H1.5 is not compatible. I liked the sound stage with the raised Mid and Tweeter so I decided to make a top section cabinet.

  6. Hello, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

I need to convert my CW3 Crossover network to H3. The CW3 kit was originally bought  to experiment with my cornscala. Couple of years ago  I upgraded my Hersey 1.5 to H3, with CW3 Xover and K28, K53Ti and K107 Tweeters. And for a while I used a Autoformer to lower the mid and tweeter section by 3db. Now instead, I am using a RME DAC's EQ to lower mid and tweeter by 3db. But this only solves digital sources.

I would instead like to make the network a proper H3 network. I checked with Michael Crites, he does not have the schematics of either.

If any of you have schematics of CW3 and H3 and since both the H3 and CW3 are no longer in current production, could you share them ?

BTW, I am in the process of building a top section cabinet (trapezoid) as I like the higher soundstage with the mid and tweeter on top of the cabinet.

    Thanks & Cheers

  7. I built y cornscalas 3 years ago but did not get around to finish them cosmetically until now. Finally it is all dressed up in Veneer, grill cloths, etc. Here are some pics.

Once again my sincere Thanks to Bob Crites, James Cullison and Klipsch forum members.
