  1. I'm a big fan of the SW line of subs. I agree with you on the KSWs going for twice as much. Not sure if the folks buying them have ever been fully exposed to other Klipsch lines? Their loss. I have a SW-10 I got off of EBay for $125. It's in mint condition. I hope to find the SW-12 in the near future. I also own a RSW-12 and run it with my HT set up. For music my preference is the SW-10
  2. Question is, do you want a 2.1 set up? You current system powers itself, correct? Are you happy with the 5.1, or are you looking for bigger sound in a 2.1 package? Not sure what your intent is? With the vintage Pioneer that you've got, the Hereseys w/subwoofer would be awesome. If they are too big, look on EBay for one of the KG models (i.e. KG-1, KG-2, etc...) run any of those w/any klipsch sub, the SW line matches the KG line really well. You can put something together (bookshelfs & sub) from EBay for $250-$500. Depending on which models you go with.
  3. Best bang huh? Well, I've owned Chorus IIs, KLF-20s, KG-4.2s, RB-5s all for 2 channel. I currently own the Reference 7s for my HT setup. I also picked up a pair of mint KG-1s and the SW-10 along with an old school Yamaha CA-610II (50w RMS). With that said, my KG-1s w/the SW-10 get my vote. I paid a whopping $75 for them (KG-1s). Here is the weird thing, they don't even have a horn loaded tweeter, still smooth as silk. I listen to them more than the Reference 7 system. However, I'd also have to root for the KLF-20s, had them for 4 years and paid $700 for them used. Wish I still had them
  4. My SW-10 has a slight pop when powered on. When powered off, it's a very loud burst/pop. Any suggestions as to what the problem is? Can I just leave it on or will it over heat?
  5. Not sure why this posted three times. However, I have this little fella for sale on EBay for $115 if you are interested.
  6. Is this something I can correct myself? If so, can someone provide some guidance. I am not mechanically inclined! Also, what size/type of driver to remove the screws? Someone please help!
  7. Still have the Kg4 speakers for sale?
  8. How much power are you looking for?
