  1. I listened to Heresy I's for 17 years and sold them, like a fool. Drifted a while and then got RB-5's which sounded really good, perhaps more refined (tamed) than my Heresys. Then sold them and am now listening to Usher S-520's. Of course, that meant I immediately had to pack away my 2 watt Decware and get some serious sand on the stand. I'm getting a hankering to go back to a more efficient speaker and based on my space it could be: RB-52, RF-52, or RF-42. Now, my major concern is imaging. I'm afraid that a twin midwoofer speaker like the RF's may not deliver quite the image as the RB's. The second consideration is the bass performance and quickness of the midwoofs. Naturally, one would think the smaller the cone the faster. Any words on differences between these three? PS. I figure the RB-81 might be a tad sluggish in the midwoof department. Ideas?
  2. I had a pair of '75s and sold them to a friend years ago and they sounded good then. He works out of town and hardly uses them at all so they are now around 35 years old. What is the first thing to give audible problems if not abused? Wiring, crossover, diaphragms, wot? Also, is there a drop in 12" replacement now for the Series I's? Thanks.
