  1. Thanks Keith, In the end of the binding post is a rubber fitting inside the screwable red and black plastic 'nuts' on the post. Tried to unscrew the nuts to get the rubber out but didn't seem to want to unscrew all the way. What do you suggest? I have a Denon Gold 3801 (Asian model) 180watts x 7.... ------------------ Mark
  2. Bought a set of Audioquest 'Slate' pre-made 10' bi-wires for $259 ... ouch! My other half would kill me if she found out I spent that much on 2 speaker wires! But they did really open up my RF-3's, seemed to even make them louder... But, I was disappointed in how the banana plug fit into the Denon 3801. Is there a way to fit the plug into the end of the speaker connectors instead of into the side where normal wire is to be attached? ------------------ Mark
  3. Thanks, Got it ... thanks also for the link, am looking forward to getting hooked up... ------------------ Mark
  4. Thanks Boa12, So it's a speaker wire that is Y'd and connects to each terminal of the speaker. Thanks for the reply! ------------------ Mark
  5. Got to confess, I'm new to Klipsch speakers... Thanks in advance to anyone willing to take the time to clue me in on step by step instructions to bi-wire the RF-3's and a RC-3 center speaker. I'm using a Denon 3801 Gold receiver... ------------------ Mark
  6. This may be something simple but I now have 3 hours into this and still can't figure it out. I have a Denon 3801 AVR Gold with Klipsch reference, a pioneer DVD, an Echostar 7200 satellite receiver, and a JVC VCR.... When playing a DVD, I can't get the VCR to record off the DVD... The VCR will record off the satellite receiver and will play back through the Denon, but all I get when trying to record is the 'blue screen of the VCR. I'm 99% certain that all connections are right, is there a setting on the Denon that I'm missing, The owners manual doesn't really go into much on video. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, I really enjoy the post on this forum, they were helpful in building this system. ------------------ Mark
