  1. Selling my Rega Rp3 turntable with upgraded Tangospinner subplatter. Turntable sounds excellent and is in very good condition. It's been well taken care of and I am the sole owner. I'd say an 8/10 cosmetically. The only issue is that the cue lever and tonearm lift gradually bleed down with the tonearm, so you have to hold the lever up by hand, until your ready to drop the needle - a minor nuisance, but worth mentioning. It will also include the Rega elys II cartridge that it came with. The elys II is in excellent shape with very few hours on it- 25 hours or so. Original box and all packaging included. Will be double boxed for shipping. Shipping included in the price. PayPal preferred....$675
  2. Selling my M1 Dac A which has the asynchronous usb input. Excellent for any stereo system, computer, or headphones setup. This Dac has been well taken care of, as I'm the sole owner. Cosmetically, I'll give it a conservative rating of an 8 out of 10, just because it's used. I dont think there's even a scratch on it. Original box and packaging and power cable included. Shipping is also included in the price. PayPal preferred... $400
  3. Sorry for the late response- long work day. I was the one fortunate enough to purchase the NBS preamp from Breakdown7. I'm beyond excited right now, and I can't wait to hear it in my setup, paired with my Stereo Vrd. Thanks David!
  4. How much does a pair of k500 horns usually sell for?
  5. Absolutely gorgeous! GLWS!! Btw, I had my Dad's Marantz 2275 completely restored by a guy named Paul Hovenga. It was a great decision! It sounds even better than it did before, and performs flawlessly. I can only imagine how this Pioneer sounds, being that it was fully restored as well.
  6. Hahaha, I believe you shakey- I probably would! I'd definitely love to hear a pair of the forte iii. I've been eyeballing them since they were released. I'm sure I would absolutely love them I wish I had the funds, but I've been loving my Klipsch belle lately, with the fastrac horns.
  7. I have owned Heresy IIIs and Cornwall IIIs....Heresy IIIs with a nice subwoofer compare very closely against the cornwall IIIs, considering they both have the same midrange horn. Heresy III and a subwoofer will save a lot of money and give you a very similar performance in my experience. I actually preferred the overall balance of my Klipsch Forte I speakers over the Cornwall III with that same midrange horn. I kept the forte I.... I sold the Cornwall IIIs because I felt, for a such a big speaker, midrange detail was lacking for me. It really bummed me out, considering how much they cost. I wish I would've picked up some Cornwall IIs instead, or maybe even cornscalas. I'm just sharing my experience.
  8. Oh man, I was saving up to purchase some. I missed out big time. Does anyone else make similar horns for 1" drivers?
  9. Not the same website, but is Dave's site down? I was going to look at his fastrac horns for Klipsch Belles, but I can't visit his site. Is he still making fastrac horns?
  10. I'm looking to sell my original type AA crossovers from my 78 Klipsch Belles....they are in working condition, and I'm only selling because I upgraded my crossovers, and I no longer need them....I'm asking $125 shipped...i believe I saw them go for around that much in the garage sale section....let me know if this is a fair price or not
  11. SOLD!!!! Thanks Dave, I hope you enjoy it very much!
  12. That's pretty cool Muel, thanks for sharing the link...I'm selling it for the medical bills we'll have once he's here...i have some more audio gear I'll be selling soon
  13. Hey Nick, sorry for the late response....i decided not to go with the marantz 8b and I'm looking at acquiring some NOSVALVES VRDs...with a baby on the way, it'll take me a while before I can afford those...I did get a blueberry preamp...my integrated Scott's sound great with the Belles right now, but I have to sell them to pay off the future medical bills
  14. I love my Marantz 2275, especially paired up with my forte I speakers....it brings the bass to life!
  15. Up for sale is a very clean vintage HH Scott 299b integrated amplifier....I had it recently rebuilt and tuned up by Craig in June of 2016....i have only put about 30 hours or so on this unit since, and it has a glorious mid-range presence and everything works great....this Scott is ready to go....I'm selling this unit because my wife and I are having our first baby.... I am including the detailed instructions from NosValves on how to properly bias this device....all of the tubes are accounted for and are in working condition...the face plate has a strong scratch right above the hh scott logo, and some slight fading on some of the lettering....other than that, the face plate looks excellent This will come well packaged and double boxed...the fuse will be taken out and put in a little baggie and bubble wrapped, taped to the chassis...I will also take out the 7189 power tubes and bubble wrap them for safety...this unit will be insured and require a signature upon delivery... $925 shipped
  16. Yeah that's me....I'm guessing it's had around 20 hours....after the last two days, I definitely think there's something amiss with either the phono preamp or one of the preamp tubes..it just started doing this..i just started getting a lot of distortion or rumbling sounds through my speaker, shortly after I turn on the scott...i think it might just be the left speaker where i hear it...it doesn't really matter where the volume is at, it'll start to get louder, and I have to turn the volume down completely....i lightly tapped the leftmost preamp tube, and it definitely affects the sound of the distortion through the speakers....I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the tube or not....it just started doing this, and caught me by surprise- it scared the shit out of me lol....i hear most of the rumble through the left speaker, and it only does this on the phono section...I'm done playing with the scott until I can get a hold of you... .i couldn't call yesterday because I work late somedays....i think I'll be able to get off work earlier today, and I'll try this afternoon to contact you
  17. Hey Craig, I've been meaning to call you on the phone....you rebuilt both of them and my 299c...i obviously appreciate your work I use the Mag Low on my 340a....I'll try and get a hold of you after work today
  18. I think the Mag Low 2 input has better detail and sounds better with my mc dynavector 10X5 cartridge...my 299b was recently restored...maybe it just needs some burn in time to take away some of the fatigue....also it doesn't say mag low 1 input on the back...i was mistaken...it just says mag 1 input....i don't have the manual for this Scott....i just want to make sure I'm using the right phono input....my scott 340a only has one low input, so that was a lot easier for me to figure out this vintage audio is confusing to me sometimes
