As far as repairing these cheap digital amps the cost to produce one is so low it usually just does not make sense Klipsch probably pays $30 for a complete amp assembly in one of these subs that's about 10 minutes bench time I assume there's enough profit in the subs to replace a few plates for each one before the warranty gives out.
This is a bad experience for the customer which ruins the reputation of the company. Which means in the long run means it is bad for the company. Short sighted management IMHO. Spend the money and time to figure out why failures are premature and fix the problem. Production in China is relatively cheap, rework here in USA not so much.

Wish I worked at Klipsch to help track down and fix these QC and or design problems. But only if management wants it to get fixed. Trying to fix something that management doesn't give an F about is like banging your head against a brick wall.
Been there.......done that.........

Name one that doesn't sound better.

I can't, I don't own any of the LPs. I'm just surprised. I own the CD of Brothers in Arms from right around when it first came out on CD. So it's not a "remaster" its an original. And some of the tunes on it sound spectacular, that's all.

I requested no rounded over edges and was accommodated. So I think that means they used a flush router bit instead of a round over bit. And they're raw so i don't have to remove the pebble finish. It's still gonna be a job. Hopefully fun and a learning experience.

Pro is expensive. It seems like there’s this misconception that bc they’re pro and don’t focus on aesthetics for the home with costly wood veneer- that they’re cheap or at least similar in cost to the heritage and reference lines. They seem to be much more costly and then add the fact that there’s not too many people who can get away with using them in a living room and they’re not friendly toward DIY guys who would like to veneer the cabinets themselves due to all the rounded/beveled edges etc and odd shapes.
I can also see the specs turning some off in terms of low end.
I personally wanted to go this route and was shocked at the price I was told for the Ki-396-II or the 362-II I was interested in
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYou got to stop with the negative waves man
I plan to veneer my Jube bass cabinets this winter.

Since all of his stuff is "local pickup only", anyone know where that is? I can't seem to find anywhere that lists it on his site.
I think they will ship 4 packs of any of their first three offerings. So maybe do a group buy? Or go crazy with all 4 all for your own.

@LTD02 Welcome to the Klipsch corner of the internet. I spoke briefly with Kevin after @Westcoastdrums turned us on to your new venture. I am definitely looking forward to horn loaded designs that can be made from CNC machined flat packs. Very cool. Thanks for all your efforts and best wishes on your new business.

Pretty much but what do I know. I wore an SVS shirt to the Pilgrimage one year. I didn't think anything of it till Chad called me out on it.
Well I was thinking/hoping that since you're a moderator you would know more as to why some people who made "upgrade" oops sorry "modification" parts for Klipsch speakers are no longer around.

Yep. I have wondered for some time with all his knowledge/effort when he (and partners) would try to make a go of it. Mucho cool.

Every time they replace an amp in your sub the warranty period should start all over again IMHO. At least as far as the amp is concerned.
