  1. Yes Sir room treatments, check. I am certainly not finished but at least to the point where when time is available I can start taking measurements. I am using some preliminary settings I got from ChrisA for the Jubes with TADs. I've got a new laptop, the UMIK, REW and the Xilica app. They sound fantastic, the 402 horns are amazing. The stereo soundstage is so wide. And the lower registers from the LF cabinets make me think there is/was something wrong with my KHorns and LaScalas that I need to investigate. Like maybe the back chambers for the woofers are leaking or??
  2. Yea but that's in Texas where things prolly make sense Growing up in Michigan no one had built in irrigation. It rained often enough it just wasn't necessary or you put a "sprinkler" on the end of your hose when needed. Then moving out here this clustering of valves is the only way I've seen it done, never thought much about it.
  3. Yes there is an anti-siphon on each sprinkler valve. Don't know if they sell'em any other way out here. And there is a back flow preventer for the whole she-bang just my side of the water meter which I have the privilege of paying $50 every year to get "checked".😠
  4. Got the Jubes in their corners finally. I had to remove a pellet stove that never gets used to make this happen. @Coytee ,the futon is facing the speakers now😎
  5. Some of my handiwork over the last couple weekends. I referred to earlier about putting in a pressure regulator. Decided as long as I was digging a hole in solid rock I would put any and all further needed irrigation valves in. Can you tell which valves were put in by the homeowner(me) and which were done by the hired help? I'm going to tear his crap out and do it my way, the pipe store just did not have enough unions for me to get'er done yet.
  6. Still not a K402 although I think it really wants to be
  7. They're invisible, just like your sweetie
  8. ^Look at that TV(once you get done with the young lady). Is this the original HT?
  9. Water on lacquer? No. If it needs cleaning use denatured alcohol. Just my suggestion.
  10. You can use pure tung oil on a lacquered finish to touch up anywhere lacquer has worn. It is a drying oil just like lacquer as opposed to a penetrating oil. I use it on the cabinetry in my house. Just let it sit for a few minutes and remove any excess other wise you'll have a blob.
  11. I would try another pair if you're not happy. What have you got to loose? Tell the vendor there is something wrong with the pair you received.
  12. This is what I had to do to get for instance football video on Thanksgiving while listening to music. I remember posting about this same subject a couple years back. What is it that AVR manufacturers don't understand? Remember you're going to have switch HDMI inputs on your TV.
  13. I almost posted about this but then realized it because of your "powers". It's all good, no worries.
  14. I think he stated one dedicated to 78 RPMs. Stayed with Dave one night before the pilgrimage this year. His system sounded awesome. He's Ok too Thank you, Sir. You guys are welcome back anytime. Dave
  15. Must be a reasonable amount where you live. I paid over $35K in permits and other fees to build my own house. Not an apartment building or industrial building, my own house. Ludicrous and totally out of control IMO.
  16. I think those are the ones @justinsweber was selling a few months back. And yes I believe Jube clone bass bins. The guy who has'em now is practically a neighbor.
  17. ^Yowzer! Those 70th anniversary pair are absolutely stunning IMHO
  18. In CA. there is a line on the tax form that asks "Have you bought anything on the internet that you did not pay CA sales tax on?" And of course they want you to fess up and pay.
