Digital volume controls reduce the signal level but the noise floor remains the same (and then, only if the signal is properly dithered after attenuation).
My digital mixer (3rd gen) is amazingly pretty good at adding gain with little or no added noise at least to my ears. My older gen 1 not so much.

ok how do I look at HJ sales? Anybody in So Cal got a pair I can hear?

I believe that is the DSP's job. But I could be very wrong.
Or gain(volume) controls on separate amps or both. Or individual input and output channels on a mixer. Many ways to skin this cat

That cake is awesome. Looks like small intimate group very conducive to getting to know each other. Roy, check....Trey, Check....Elden,check...Jim H, check. If I have met others sorry I forgotten your faces....

Does Klipsch DSP quantize@ 24 bit 48kHz or 96kHz? Or something different?
-
Does it sound different depending on whether one is sittng where the Sonex is still intact as opposed to rotted and missing and all that is left is plywood behind you?

RIP Larry..I was supposed to meet him on a trip to DC and attend a symphonic orchestra performance a few years back. Unfortunately that did not occur because of scheduling conflicts.

Do you drive the AMT actively to compensate for the lower efficiency?
If you mean through an active xover and separate amp...yes I do.

My limited understanding of the AMT is that it is a dipole radiator and does need to be open to the back. Does not stop one from ignoring that fact and trying it in other ways.

Don't know how well the dipole AMTs will do right in front of bass horn.

@Schu thanks for posting the pics of your tweeters and stands (again). That's about the height mine will be when the stands get here. Starting to look at how to mount them to keep them in vertical alignment as @mikebse2a3 has suggested. Probably need to be above 402 somehow.

Is that phase coherent diffusion on the front wall or some homemade curved panels?
They're GIK diffusors....https://www.gikacoustics.com/product/evolution-polyfusor-diffusor-absorber-bass-trap/

I'm really digging that room !
The pictures make everything look purple, it is really more blue and red. I can dial in almost any combo with the DMX fixtures and controller.

@mikebse2a3 the AMTs were $250 a pair with mounting kit. I figured what the heck. I have wanted to play with a tweeter to go along with the 2 ways for a long time. I am currently driving with a Crown D75 that's about 45 watts a channel into 4 ohms which the AMTs are. It is fairly easy to exhaust the D75s output while trying to keep up with the Jubes. I need a bigger amp
