  1. BSM, You're just goofing on me .
  2. This is partially why no one will ever be able to go back in time. Because if you change anything(in the past) it will change everything(in the present).
  3. "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." - Henry David Thoreau "I wish I knew what I know now when I was younger." - Rod Stewart(well he sung it, don't know if he wrote it)
  4. Yep, for sure do able but as I saw in another thread today "fugly"
  5. Doesn't the Speaker level center channel output have the center channel info? Why couldn't you down level convert this and then input into a center channel amp? I'm with MLO so far.
  6. The polars on Tractrix horns in general collapse at higher frequencies, however the 240 will easily achieve 6k+. My meaning was the 240 simply can not be used 2 way. Thanks for that clarification Dave.
  7. Sorry Justin, didn't catch this until today. I am using a BMS4592 MID on the 240 and a B&C DE38 on the Contrac tweeter.
  8. Yea I was asking about the adapters. It also shorts the signal on pin 3 of the XLR to ground (I'm talking about balanced out to unbalanced in). Depending on the output involved this could be OK or it could be bad for the equipment. I do not know the topology of the DX-38s outputs. Anybody ever put an O'scope on it? Is there an inverted signal on pin 3 compared to pin 2? or is it just impedance balanced to ground?
  9. Jmon, Will you be going from unbalanced outputs of a preamp to the inputs of the DX-38? And then from the balanced outs into an unbalanced input of a power amp? For the preamp outs to the DX-38 inputs these cables from Monoprice work great and they're wired properly: http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=4776 (other lengths are available) For the DX-38s outs to unbalanced in, that's going to be a little less straightforward.
  10. Patriots against whoever. Just let Brady get his 5th ring so he can retire.
  11. Just be careful. I was told on another thread just the other day that a part cannot partially fail and there is no such thing as something being intermittent.
  12. Schu, Is this the same seller that you went and looked at the RSW-15 for me?
  13. How else could the warp drive possibily work?
  14. Congratulations, "Nautral childbirth" yea I guess, in the shower no less. Hope you are doing as well as Mom and daughter.
  15. Pete H, This thread has some info about tearing apart the RSW-15 https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/158764-where-to-place-a-third-rsw-15-subwoofer-in-my-ht/page-2 I'd say Youthman knows how to disassemble.
  16. Right now I have it running off an ALK ES KHorn crossover so that would be 5.8kHz if I'm remembering correctly. You mean I could/should crossover lower and it would sound better? Wow. Cuz it sounds pretty darn sweet already. I love how this big horn sounds (and looks).
  17. Saw the picture of the crossover. So that's the ES300? My, my that some large inductors.
  18. I like the velcro bundle ties. Changeable without destruction. But dust and pet hair tends to get stuck in them.
  19. Agreed. They sound excellent, especially when dialed-in by the Chief himself. Who is the chief dialer'inn'er? that'd be Chief Bonehead I presume. He's rumored to work at Klipsch
