120 Hz @ -68dB pretty much sums it up at least for me...not even in the realm of acceptibility.

You won´t tell me that you´re doing it alone ? Guess you´ve got some co-workers or contracted a company for garden path construction , however pretty nice path and garden design
I do a lot myself...that's why I don't have a lot of time for audio hobby. But yes I hired help on some of this

Maybe not so dumb...just looking through Decaware documentation they suggest it and say nothing about it being temporary(?).
Also specs state 120HZ down only 68dBu (?)
So @ThomBoh barring anything magical going on I think you have checked everything. The fact that manufacturer specs 120 HZ only down 68dBu and the 60 HZ only a little more this is why you are objecting to it. Now only you can decide if you can live with it. I could not..but hey that's just me..I relocated all my power amps to a remote utility room because I could not stand the transformer hum.

May get some coyote scat and it may contain remains of cat...cats do not survive long here unless they're indoors only.

More proof to confirm why I generally don't ask people on the internet what they think.

Brand new unit received in 2 or 3 days from China at a lower negotiated price than original listed price. Considerably lower.
Happy camper here.

Well, actually, your pic of RCA cables demonstrates my original issue - a monoblock only has one input so which of the two RCA goes in the input??
Not trying to be obtuse here, I know we all have different levels of understanding and expertise but it is the cable that is connected to the output of the pre amp that needs to be plugged into the input of the power amp. It's that "circuit" thing again
-
if you are Ok with balanced cables exposed in your room for now of course that will be better. And you don't have to fart around making speaker wire fit into RCA type connectors.
-
Ur close go snag'em. They are wonderful horns anyone thinking about them. $325?...that's just the sanding labor.

Oh yes of course you will have to use both wires...don't have a "circuit" without both. I am going to pretend your speaker wires are a red and black pair. Wire the red wire to the RCA "center pin" on both ends and the black wire to the "outer shield" on both ends.
-
Go for it..it will work..just not optimally. Is this balanced or unbalanced?
