  1. I see A LOT of people putting over 300-500 watts into their Heritage Klipsch. I keep seeing and hearing Great responses from those line of "vintage" Yamaha amps, M-80, M-65. I'm super interested to find how that sounds...
  2. These are $35,000 πŸ˜•πŸ€€πŸ€€..... I thought they were $14,000, a pair. Am I correct are they $17,500 each...???.😭 OK I JUST watched the video; $17,499 each. Sorry for my ignorance. ThankYou for sharing.!! I'm gonna go cry in my closet.
  3. Funny, you say that... Its kinda why I posted the sale... I was researching G.A.S. products and found the lot on eBay.
  4. Sadly a bidding war, and local pick-up onlyπŸ™ https://www.ebay.com/itm/133989220679?hash=item1f32614147:g:BWwAAOSw49xhithX
  5. Those hill climb trucks are insane..πŸ˜‚
  6. I attend the Daytona Rolex 24 and Sebring 12hr every year, and the sites and sounds of a vintage GT40 going around either of those tracks is nothing short of incredible... Watching 3 red Mark II & mark III's absolutely blasting down the front stretch together at Sebring will always be a cherished memory. I Love GT40's.. That vid of KennyBrack at Goodwood is one I've watched many times, its a favorite, thought I'd share.🏎️
  7. My nephew and I just watched MASTODON perform at the Harrah's Cherokee center in Asheville, NC. Great show..!! We've seen them twice together, and the first time was 4 years ago at TheRitz in Raleigh,NC... At Harrah's Asheville again, we saw PRIMUS on their "Farewell to Kings" tour, where they perform RUSH's album "Farewell to Kings" in its entirety. It was fantastic.! I actually went to Red Rocks for the first time when I was in Denver for Halloween visiting my sister. I attended both nights of DEADMAU5 Nov 4&5. RedRocks is by far the most spectacular venue I have ever been privileged to see live music in, absolutely gorgeous.
  8. Thanks for the responses!.... I would assume actually rebuilding this speaker is gonna be near the price of a new Crites woofer $115. And i actually never thought about upgrading using newer Klipsch woofers, maybe out of the new Forte IV. Yeah I know.. Thinking about new mid and tweeter Ti diaphragms. But I hear they increase listener fatigue. And that the phenolics are smoother. This is the problem with online conversations. I don't know anybody around town that has switched to Ti tweeters or mids, meaning I cannot go over and listen to the difference. Do you highly recommend the new Ti tweeters.
  9. The Crites woofers are $220 a pair. If anyone has any other suggestions on woofers in the range$+...Budget $250
  10. Hi everyone..... I blew up one of my woofers and was wondering if I should send it in for reconstruction or just buy/find a factory replacement. I have no idea about pricing on either. Also thinking about buying New Crites's woofers seeing as I'm about to upgrade my crossovers and modify my cabinets. I'm just a little lost on what to do. I'm not holding myself too stringently on keeping these 100% factory stock. I'm on a mission to upgrade. As I'm writing this out, those Crites woofers seem like the best option. I'm confused because I don't know how much better the Crites perform over stock and how much its gonna cost me to replace or fix the factory k-25-k. Always grateful for your input and opinionsπŸ‘..??
  11. Sad news.. I'd like to say sorry and give my condolences to his family and friends. . My heart goes out to all of you forum members who knew him... Rest In Peace Dave
  12. Rest In peace Mr.Crites... To the Crites family my heart goes out to you, you have my condolences. I had a lot of respect for Bob, and so much gratitude..❀️
  13. I'll take the UNIVERSAL MONSTERS COLLECTION...!! If that's still available..?
  14. Wow, that's probably the best PlupFiction poster I've ever seen..πŸ‘
  15. It sounds like a mix of electric motors with fake sound enhancements and a little bit of straight cut diff gears... All high frequency piercing sounds... Not cool Jetson exhaust like it should be..... They should have that as an option in electric cars... Like a menu for in-car exhaust noise replication... A list of race cars you wish your electric car sounded like... George Jetson's SpaceCar Ferrari F12 t2 Richard Petty 64' Etc...!
  16. 1 lung, 2 Kidneys, The pick of Destiny and the horns of a northern white rhino....
  17. This car is the successor to the last McLaren F1...That previous F1 was also designed by Gordon Murray... I'm just curious to know what you all think about it and Its place in our new bigger, heavier more powerful sports cars of today...?? The horsepower war at the moment is quite ridiculous in my opinion... Dodge is selling 800hp cars to the public..Great for drag racing, highway pulls, but I live in the mountains.. I'd rather drive a car with half the horsepower and 1/3 the weight... Is that all people are doing now, spending $25, 35, $45,000 on engines to do highway pulls for 20 seconds. Nobody knows how to drive all these new super horsepower cars if the computer attached to the engine wasn't cutting power and cradling its "driver".... I'm a bit sick of all the performance numbers of today... Every new sports car coming out is heavier than the last, bigger, but faster.... I think we are going in the wrong direction... We are losing sight of the involvement aspect of our new sports cars... And by their new designs we are solely focused on bigger numbers than the next manufacturer, not driver experience.... Now obviously they are making them "better" more comfortable, faster and easier to drive, but I think its actually taking emotion away from the way the car treats YOU, the feedback, the relationship... They don't kiss like they used to, ya'know what I mean.. And they should be kissing better then ever, like an ornery octopus that's been in prison for a stint.. You should feel and completely understand how the car moves and reacts... But they conceal their true identity under the computers control... like an escort, all dressed up to Really party, but all you get is a little peck on the lips with little emotion.. And if you try to really touch her, she'll rip your arm off and beat you to death with it... Even the new Porsche 911's are putting on pounds, something like 3500lbs 1600kg, and Electronic controlled EVERYTHING, steering, brakes, throttle... We as drivers are being replaced by what the computer thinks we should be doing, not what we are actually inputting into the cars controls....... This new T.50 wasn't the look I was expecting, but.... The more I hear about the T.50, it's focus is 100% driver enjoyment... No other car is being designed in the same way this one was.... Even G.Murray in the video says nothing can compete because all the rest of the manufacturers design by committee, and you'll never get a focused drivers car with all the regulations from each branch of design inputing their ideas and jumbling up the final product. The 663hp cosworth v12 that revs to 12,100 has its carbon intake mounted directly over the drivers head in the cars carbon roof.... It is fast becoming the best sports car made in my eyes... Get the pool ready, this octopus is ready to party... πŸ™
