I had been considering an upgrade to my HT. I purchased an Emotiva MC700 processor and a matching seven channel amp. I added two new Klipsch speakers, RC-450 center and 12" sub. I now agree that receivers are convenient but seperates bring out the music. My Klipschorns have never sounded like now. I still run them large w/ 80HK crossover.the center needed a boost to keep up but very clear dialogue. Moved the two heresy's from center to 6&7 back channel(receive atmos signel) Midrange like never before

I bought a pair in 1978 and they are still the best

I listen to a pair of Chorus 1 in my family room. 15' apart about a foot out from corner. Great sound

i have been enjoying Pandora streaming through a pair of Oppo players ( 93 and 103) in different rooms. My basement set up is a home theater with KHorns. The connection in the Wi Fi started dropping off. I connected an ethernet cable from the modem and was stunned by the improvement. I did the the same in my main floor family room, two channel, Chorus. Huge change. Net Flix now is true HD. Streaming rivals Blu Ray. If your WiFi drops off I would recommend a cable

For me it was a home run. It was 1977 and I saw an estate sale auction for a pair of Klipschorns.The owner was an engineer who had purchased new. Raw birch wood. I bid $600 and won! My car was a VW square back. I had 3 hours to remove and I lived an hoour away. Had to make two trips as you can imagine. I've enjoyed all these years. They now are part of my home theatre. Two heresy's in center (bridged) and KG5's as surround. I play them on a 24' wall.

I ordered Star Wars- The force returns on blu ray from Netflix. Must say it is one of the highest quality DVDs I have seen. Crystal clear, great John Williams music and deep action. Shook things up. Recommend highly.

I try to always watch with Blu-ray, NetFlix or my purchase. To me video and audio are much better. i recently changed receivers to Pioneer 5.1 and like it better than 7.1 Onkyu. I changed the Khorns to small after years on large and was amazed at the improvement in mid range and very tight bass.

I own kinda blue on vinyl (new pressing) SACD and DVD audio. I like the DVD best

I've been enjoying DVD's from the local library of 24. I started with series one (2001) and as you might expect,once the show was a hit, the production became better. The sound track followed right along. By season three the sound was world class. The variety of the music and great dynamics are terrific. The sound track exceeds most movies.
