I gotta get over there and check out their new store. It'll give me a chance to hear the Cornwall IV's again. If I wasn't so happy with my modded 30's those Corns would be in my house.

YA I did not know they moved till I started looking for something to replace my K-Horns, Will get down there soon might look at a Yahama integrated to replace the McIntosh and PS Audio.

It's got to be a new owner? The last time I was there the owner was the Finance Manger for HiFi Hutch back in the 70s Man I miss that store. That and stoping at Hotter than Mothers Music on the way. 😀

if you are looking for an impressive alternate listen to the anniversary issue of the Warfdale Linton.

I sold my K-Horns and H-3s last week downsizing, looking at retirement soon.  I bought and have not taken out of the box yet Warfdale Denton 85th more for size than anything else.

Looking to spend a fair amount of time in an RV,  fingers crossed I can live with them.

That guy loves everything! I looked on the KLH website and found this interesting tidbit:

KLH was purchased by David P. Kelley, longtime Klipsch and VOXX executive, in 2017. He moved the global headquarters to Noblesville, Indiana.”

Mostly true, he and the wife? Both hate the black sides on the Yahama A-S3200 LOL

  6. Bought the pair in 2008 for 800.00 aded the single for 425.00 a few years later Made small profit and made a fellow Klipsch fanatic happy to finch his 5.1 project.

Even in trading futures I leave a little on the bone for the next guy. K-Horns excluded ;+)

As soon as I agreed to the price last night I could have gotten  another 150.00   ; + (

My first tube amp was bought from Paul - Cayin TA30. Paul was the distributor as Cayin was just entering the US market, he would put his own mods to the amps like focus control, bias points etc. They were beautifully made tube amps from China. He sold quite a number of these and as the story goes a big west coast dealer cut a deal with Cayin and what became Prima Luna. Look at the earlier P L and TA30 - virtually identical. Together they effectively cut out Paul’s distributorship.

Did not know this, it ties a few things together, I do not know what Pauls ultimate demise was, but I remember him posting a cartoon of an Eskimo trying to sell Ice out of his Igloo on his web site shortly before he passed. So sad if this was the basis.

  9. Yes great stuff, I had over the years not only the TAD-60 a TAD-150 Pre Amp that was on par with a McIntosh C2300 I also had three of the 125 Hibacki mono blocks that I really regret selling. Paul also rebuilt a Fisher that my son still has today. I wish I had known him longer.

  10. 1983 K-Horns finished in a light cherry and three coats of lacquer done by a local furniture restoration shop. I bought these in 2010 they were unfinished Birch in the near mint con. Note: No plants or drinks ever rested here. Crites crossovers with Crites tweeters Type A 4500Hz 4200.00 Pick up near 60051 Possible combo with a McIntosh C2300

I would say the color is closer to the 3rd pic. The full front shot,  the top shot 4th was with the flash and they are not that dark.
